Default Henley Comments about Tour

I know ya'll are tired of Don, but someone posted this on our blog today. Thought you might find it interesting.....

Don did a radio interview today with 94.7 in Detroit. Here are some of the things he said:

- He will be playing first, then Nicks
- They will sing L&L and maybe Highway Man together
- The tour was cut to 10 dates due to his "throat problems"
- They will have a rotating stage to minimize time delay
- They planned to combine bands, but will use their own
- The DJ asked why they were in CA for two months with no midwest dates, he said "Ask Mr Frey."
- Asked about a Nicks/Henley tour DVD he said they hadn't talked about it

Thanks for the info. I consider myself a Henley fan as well. Though I don't own any solo albums, I like many of his solo songs. I was really looking forward to the tour, but they wound up cancelling Dallas.

Same here...the only one I own is Inside Job, and I have a few Eagles albums also

So if Don plays first, then they do maybe 2 songs together, then Stevie plays, how much time will each be on stage doing their own songs? An hour or less? And what are the chances that, in an hour or less, that she will pull some surprises?

It's very likely that they do a an hour and 1/2 long show or atleast an hour and 15 mins each...The Eagles do a 3 hour concert...I dont see why they couldnt both do an hour and 15, and a 15 min encore at the end with both of them

Chris

Don did a few other radio interviews this week and mentioned that he and Stevie will have an opening act and that he'll be onstage for her set and she'll be onstage for his. Not quite sure what that means. They start rehearsing the 22nd.
