Default ticketmaster question

for those a bit more familiar with the land of ticketmaster, if a new date is to be announced for a tour (additional date) then does that happen on weekdays or also weekends? I am wondering b/c the McCartney concert in Arco was sold out at 2mins after 10am (when it went on sale) and I am curious as to why another date hasn't been added and wondering if dates are only added on buisness days. Thanks.

We were trying to get tickets this morning for Paul in Philadelphia. A few minutes after they went on sale, another show was announced for the following evening. I would suspect if a second show was to be added, it would be added immediately. I think it also depends on the area (major metropolitan or smaller venue, etc.) as to whether or not they'll put on another show and I do think they follow the morning ticket sales closely and keep in mind his touring schedule to see if they can fit another one in at the same venue.

I'm sure you'll be fine. The only concert that was ever "sold out" truly that i've gone to and was unable to find tickets for close to the date was the Chastain Park show in Atlanta last year. Other than that, i've always (as has everyone I know) been able to get excellent seats all the way up to the day of the show. If it says "sold out," I generally don't believe it. Hopefully they'll add another show

yeah I hope so, but thanks for the positive vibes, I am betting they add another show as there a four days before and after this one that are not being used. Did you manage to get the tixs you wanted?

I think that there was a lot of presale tickets available for the Philadelphia show. I got mine by registering through Paul's website, but I was also offered tickets by the Wachovia Center because I bought tickets for Fleetwood Mac in Philly last year. I bet a lot of the tickets were sold even before they went on sale to the public just because the Wachovia Center offered tickets to people who bought tickets from them for other concerts. I hope he comes around again...I'm sure he will! I saw Paul in 2002 and it was the best show I've ever seen...but then again, I'm a little biased being that I'm a slightly obsessive Beatles fan

I was looking for tickets for a coworker. I'd absolutely love to go but hopefully i'll be back in school by then (which translates into money being super tight). The last time he came to Philadelphia, he stopped in where I work for spa and salon services. Everyone, guests included, stopped with mouths agape and stared at Paul and Heather. I have a feeling he'll be back in again. If i'm not working here still, i'll have to make an appointment for that day for something
