I wonder if my Mother was to receive the next Rhino catalog??? She had an acct. with Rhino, Which doesnt surprise me..."Like Mother, like son" in the catergory of music collections

I will have to check and see if I can find out any details on the The Best of Stevie Nicks release, Most artists release a couple of new tracks/rare gems on greatest hits compilations...So hopefully the same may happen with Stevie (We can only hope!)

Lightbulb single..

Ok, now when and where is the lead off single? Will we definately or maybe I should say, usually, get one for a Greatest Hits album??

Another question. This is being distributed by Rhino, so will it count as one of the two albums she owes Reprise? I think so, right??

I wonder how much Stevie has been involved with this..she did not mention it at ALL at the Hall of Fame or on Jim Ladd. She pushed Vegas but not this. Odd.
(I am thinking back to Timespace where she hated the idea of a Greatest Hits album...could the label be making her do this or no?) I realize she may WANT to do this but I am curious why she didn't try to promote it on Jim Ladd. Albums that are coming out in late May are already being pushed and promoted on MTV and in Billboard and VH1 etc etc.

Anyhoo, I am excited at the possibility of one or two new songs. That is always exciting news.

I gotta say, for someone who has had less than a half dozen solo hits in her career, Stevie certainly comes out with a lot of "greatest hits" CD's...
I mean, seriously, in the 14 years since TimeSpace, she has had only 2 new releases.. i don't see a reason for this at all..

Well, i guess we can hope for at least one new track with this, her 3rd "greatest hits" package... :sigh:

I can do without the Greatest Hits package. I'd rather not pay $18.98 for the same rehashing of songs, plus one or two new songs. I want an album of new material.

But I am excited about Storytellers on DVD.

I agree there's no real call for a Greatest Hits, she's already done that and a Boxed Set to boot.

I don't get why she doesn't release a live album. There's gotta be enough material recorded throughtout the years that she could pull a gem or two from each tour and make one spectacular live album. She could even throw in At Last to mix it up a bit.

How big is your record collection anyway? I've been wondering about this...I envision a wall of music Am I right? We have a million gazillion c.d.'s and then there's the vinyl...so, I'm right there with ya on big music collections.

I agree! That's a much better idea than another GH album!

Yeah, she's totally, totally, completely, missing the boat on that one. Now that's an album that would kick much, much, ass.

I think she needs a Greatest Hits album that would also include her singles from Fleetwood Mac. That way, she could include Landslide, Rhiannon, etc. with Edge of Seventeen, Stanback, and so forth. I think that would be an interesting mix.

I hope My Heart is the lead single off the album. That song is greatness!

her FM songs would never ever make it onto her own "greatest hits" CD.. but anyway, this is getting so repetitive with her... at least maybe they could be remixes or something... how many different official releases from Stevie do we need "Edge Of Seventeen", "Stand Back", "Leather And Lace", "Talk To Me", etc on?? This will be her 4th CD with the same EXACT songs as was on BD, TWH, RAL, Timespace, and Enchanted... it's just such a bad idea and It's just a money-making ploy... I can't see why she wouldn't just do re-issues?? That would much more sense, considering all of her "greatest hits" came from BD, TWH, and RAL anyway... why oh why does she handle her career so poorly at times?
