Default Miss USA - Do you watch this train wreck?

So the Miss USA pagent is on tonight. Do you watch this, and if so, why?

For me, I use it as comic relief. Especially at the end when they have to answer the FINAL QUESTION.

Interestingly, there are very few blondes this year. Normally, the stage is full of bottled blondes.

I've never watched the miss USA pageant actually.

I would have this year...I roomed with a girl in Vegas at this conference last April who was on the Miss America circuit - had she won her state (N. or S. Carolina) she would be on...and I would have watched...but she got like first runner up of her state or something...so oh well...

I've never seen it. Is this the pageant that's owned by Donald Trump?

Oh heeelllll noooo!! I can't stand watching it, it drives me crazy. It actually makes me mad. I guess that's my feminist side. But I don't fault any of those women for doing it, it can be a stepping stone for a lot of things. It's so not my scene though.

I do not really have a problem with them. But, every time I say that, all my femi nazi friends wanna kill me Of course, I surprised them by having a birthday party at Hooters, which HORRIFIED THEM and they really could not get out of it. I am a sick one aren't I. Interestingly, they talked one chick out of working there and my rather large homely femi nazi friend got a date with a hot chick. So, it was not a total bust (pun intended)

I watched it only because my daughter's friend, Marin Poole, is Miss Utah. She was chosen one of the 15 finalists

Does Trump's wife ever do anything other than look pretty in designer clothing? I don't think I have ever heard her speak at all. He finally married the kind of woman that he really wanted.............a mannequin and a mime all rolled into one I bet those dinner conservations are very interesting

I used to watch them when I was a little kid but I haven't in years. But I found out this morning that the winner was Miss North Carolina and she's from my hometown, so awesome, I guess.

She is hot. She's one of the few traditional, model-esque beauties that I like as much as everyone else who digs her. Usually not my type but that woman is smokin'! Well, I suppose Stevie fits into that category, too.

I used to work at an office building with a Hooters right across the parking lot. We ordered from there once and it was crap. It was too funny though, because we sent our computer guy to pick up the grub and when he took like 30 minutes to finally get back, we gave him heck about staying too long!! LOL We knew the food wasn't ready, but we ribbed him anyways. Heh.

How did they talk her out of working there?
