Default Share your favorite foodstuff

It would really be helpful to me to know about more foodstuffs & if possible where to order them.

The foodstuffs I want to share this morning is the Frontier Flapjack & Waffle Mix by Kodiak Cakes (Baker Mills). You can visit these flapjack mukers at www.kodiakcakes.com

Baker Mills seeks to "restore the flapjack tradition" as gastronomized by the hearty mainstay of our pioneers, mountain men & rugged individualists, from the rocky mountains to the high sierras to the frigid Yukon to the wilds of the Alaskan tundra. The traditional flapjack combined the rich, substantial taste of whole grain wheat with the light, mellow flavor of whole grain oats.

A powerful source of flavor, carbohydrates, protein & fiber!! No cholesterol & no fat!!

I'm a hot sauce addict(hope this technically qualifies as food). My favorites are bought at my local Asian market. One is called Sambal, and the other Tropical. They are extremely similar, but sometimes they only stock one or the other.
It's sweet chili sauce. I've tried many other varieties, but these two are the best! I've addicted several people to this stuff.

Sambal, ha that's indonesian. There's many varieties of it, actually.
Indonesian food is as common here (in the Netherlands) as pizza is in the US, I guess. Leftover from our colonial days, I guess. Talking about asian foodstores (or as we call them, Toko), I'm crazy about those rice cookies that are salty on one side and sugar coated on the other .. sorry David, no idea where to order them!
As for sambal though, here's one site of a good dutch brand:
Conimex
sorry, in dutch.

Talking about hot sauces (I'd call sambal a paste, rather), you know Harissa? That's from Morocco I think, good stuff!

I'm obsessed with cheese enchiladas doused in chili con carne, and have been for months now. I could eat at a Mexican restaurant every freakin' day. And I must have a glass of Sangria as well.

Mine is pretty boring. I usually have steak when I go out and I am not into real spicy foods. I do love Applebees Crispy Orange Chicken Skillet. Hubby and I usually share meals when we go out. This stuff is soooooo good!

My biggest favorite food things lately have been cheesecake, baked ziti and roasted garlic hummus on bagel chips.

best dessert you'll ever eat-what my grandmother called "tipsy cake" but I think the real name is "trifle"-not sure

It's boiled custard with rum in it poured over cake. You can put whipped cream on if you want.

I also love cheesecake but I can't eat it anymore-too much fat..
