Cool I'm SO bored!!!!

I'm bored bored bored.

Today is going so damn slow -and it doesn't help that the people I'm trying to get a hold of for a story have not called back....urgh.

There is absolutely NO point to this thread at all....I'm just very bored...so I guess to pass the time I will come up with a few questions....

-----

-Do you get bored at work?

-What do you do when you get bored at work and there's not a whole going on the Ledge?

-Do you have a specific lunch hour at work - or can you take lunch whenever you feel like it?

-What's the dress code like at your place of work?

-Do you have an office or a cubicle? Or do you share a space with others?

-What do you do when you get out of work?

-are you happy with the times you go to work/get out of work?

-what would your ideal working hours be?

Now I will answer myself to kill even more time until I go on the air

-----

-Do you get bored at work?
**yes...not a lot - but it happens...

-What do you do when you get bored at work and there's not a whole going on the Ledge?
**I check my e-mail over and over and over - then write long-overdue e-mails, or I read the comics..or sit and stare

-Do you have a specific lunch hour at work - or can you take lunch whenever you feel like it?
**I can eat whenever I want - pretty much just whenever I can fit it into my day....no one keeps tabs on us which I like.

-What's the dress code like at your place of work?
**Business casual I guess...our boss likes us to look nice for press conference etc - luckily we don't have to get all dolled up like they do in TV

-Do you have an office or a cubicle? Or do you share a space with others?
**I'm in a newsroom - there's this island thing and four of us sit around it - there's a large wall/thing in the middle with cabinets- so I don't have to stare at the people across from me - but I still hear whistling guy all the time...he's clipping his nails right now

Guess I'm not the only bored one.

-What do you do when you get out of work?
**I go straight home to let the dog out, then I walk the dog, then I eat dinner..then I just do whatever

-are you happy with the times you go to work/get out of work?
**Overall. I don't come to work until 10 - I'd like it to be later because I HATE getting up in the morning lol...but 10 is good

-what would your ideal working hours be?
**Um noon - to like 7 or something....

Yes!

-What do you do when you get bored at work and there's not a whole going on the Ledge?
Handheld Yahtzee(with the audio off)! Or solitaire.

Specific

-What's the dress code like at your place of work?
Whatever you want to wear.

A sound mixer, with a rack of equalizers beside it.

Usually have a few.

-are you happy with the times you go to work/get out of work?
Usually happy. Unless the act runs up until the last curfew minute.

None!

-Do you get bored at work?

No. I get bored when I'm in the office and no one is there, though. It's different from being alone at home, it's...lonelier.

-What do you do when you get bored at work and there's not a whole going on the Ledge?

Clean. I clean my apartment obsessively every day. Think Joan Crawford in Mommie Dearest. I never have nothing to do at the office, so I'm always busy when I'm there.

-Do you have a specific lunch hour at work - or can you take lunch whenever you feel like it?

Whenever. I usually don't eat lunch, though, I snack on nuts.

-What's the dress code like at your place of work?

Formal. I don't mind it because I like dressing up. If I'm at home, I usually dress up, too.

-Do you have an office or a cubicle? Or do you share a space with others?

I have a drafting station in a cubicle. Light-up table, regular desk, and too much junk.

-What do you do when you get out of work?

Depends on the day!

-are you happy with the times you go to work/get out of work?

Yes. I work on my own schedule, but it requires a lot of self-discipline, so it was hard to get into any sort of routine for a long time.

-what would your ideal working hours be?

None at all, but I'm comfortable right now.

-Do you get bored at work?
I'm never not bored, at this job! :

-What do you do when you get bored at work and there's not a whole going on the Ledge?
Um, did you see my post numbers? I'll just talk anyway. Naw, I check other sites, or look for stuff to clean around work (barf).

-Do you have a specific lunch hour at work - or can you take lunch whenever you feel like it?
It's been more flexible lately, I don't have to take lunch and can come in later or leave earlier. But, technically, 1:30 ish.

-What's the dress code like at your place of work?
Office casual? The press guys wear work suit thingies (like mechanics) the boss wears jeans and shirts, and Tusk a-hole wears regular suit like garments, with ties. Graphics guy wears Yucky gross jeans and T-shirts. Sales guy dresses office casual.

-Do you have an office or a cubicle? Or do you share a space with others?
we're all in one big room, at separate desks. there's partitions, but i'm in front, and everyone else can see what I am doing.

-What do you do when you get out of work?
change clothes, walk home, the rest depends. Usually regular stuff. Two nights I go to class in the city.

-are you happy with the times you go to work/get out of work?
hmmm...11:00, 11:30 ish to 4-5? yeah, pretty happy.

-what would your ideal working hours be?[/QUOTE]
flexi-schedule, ie, whenever I feel like it.

-Do you get bored at work?

*Occasionally, yes. It's not that I'm never busy- I'm always overly busy. Sometimes it's just mind-numbing and I have to walk away.

-What do you do when you get bored at work and there's not a whole going on the Ledge?

*I rarely visit the Ledge when I'm bored. I go read TWoP (recaps or forums or whatever) or LJ or indulge my love for Sark. Or I go into our graphics room and I cut boards and do other intern-y stuff.

-Do you have a specific lunch hour at work - or can you take lunch whenever you feel like it?

*I normally go to lunch at 1PM. Actually, I eat at my desk at around 11:45 or noon, and then spend my lunch break at 1 walking in the trails around our office park.

-What's the dress code like at your place of work?

*Casual to business casual. Today I'm wearing jeans, a green tank top, an athletic hooded zip-up jacket, and green sneakers. That's about average for me.

-Do you have an office or a cubicle? Or do you share a space with others?

*I have what we all fondly call officles. It's kinda tucked in, but not- surrounded by cubicle type walls, but they're just over waist-high. Kinda hard to explain.

-What do you do when you get out of work?

*I go home and work out for an hour while I watch the day's episode of Ed/Gilmore Girls/Felicity/whatever else kind of crap my Tivo's grabbed for me.

-are you happy with the times you go to work/get out of work?

*I work 9AM-5:30PM. It's okay. I work late too often, though.

-what would your ideal working hours be?

*uh, none. i hate working. i wouldn't mind 10-6.

Exclamation Lol

-Do you get bored at work?

Yep, and my work is boring anyways...I just do data entry. Zzzzz...

-What do you do when you get bored at work and there's not a whole going on the Ledge?

Watch TV...since I work at home. Earlier, I painted my new bathroom door. I'll snack (not a great thing, but I don't overeat or anything.), surf the net.

-Do you have a specific lunch hour at work - or can you take lunch whenever you feel like it?

I can eat when I want. YAY ME! LOL Working at home rules.

-What's the dress code like at your place of work?

Um...my pajamas.

-Do you have an office or a cubicle? Or do you share a space with others?

Nope, just my desk. At my last job, we had a workstation, but no cubicles, thank God.

-What do you do when you get out of work?

Watch TV. Well, from the time I get up (10AM) until I am ready to go to bed, I work off and on, sometimes until 2AM because we get paid by how much work we do...and I'm greedy. LOL

-are you happy with the times you go to work/get out of work?

Yep. Hee!

-what would your ideal working hours be?

What I have now. If I had a regular job, I would want to work the hours I did on my last job, which was from 8AM to 4:45PM.

Other sites? It's them damn gossip sites that I'm addicted to. I have every single bloody one in my favorites and must go to them every day. If a celebrity bends over the wrong way, I know about it. Kinda sad, but it makes for great conversations.

I just read that Liz Smith sent a note to Madonna after she found out she was having a private party in Hollywood, and it read "Can I come? I just got over a bad love affair and need to go out and have fun." Madonna sent her a note back that said "Stop feeling sorry for yourself. Everyone has had that happen to them. And no- you can't come, it's private."

Well - Christy - your job sounds lovely - I'd love to stay home with my dog....and do work in between watching tv and whatever stuff there is to do....

I guess my ideal working hours would also have to be none though BUT I'm afraid I'd get bored...

I just need to marry into money (lots and lots of money) so that I can shop all the time ...kidding....a little

That's the one that has little blurbs on everyone, ever, in alphabetical order, right? I love that one, although i found some things i'm pretty sure aren't true. But s'okay, i'd still kill to have more.

I'm really bored too but I'm gunna answer mine about school since I don't work!

-Do you get bored at school? Of course I do... Especially in History and that's when I bring out my planner and color or I doodle!

-What do you do when you get bored at school and there's not a whole going on the Ledge? Find friends to talk to or I sleep

-Do you have a specific lunch hour at school - or can you take lunch whenever you feel like it? Yeah I have lunch 6th period which is about 11:50-12:35

-What's the dress code like at your place of school? No one listens to the dress code so people just wear whatever they want

-Do you have an office or a cubicle? Or do you share a space with others? I have a desk! LOL Well, I have many of desks...

-What do you do when you get out of school? I go home and eat food and check the Ledge and sometimes go outside if it's really nice like today (It's like 73 degrees outside)

-are you happy with the times you go to school/get out of school? Yayaya I like school I just don't like getting up early

-what would your ideal school hours be? NEVERRRRR Well that will never happen so let's go with like 9 or 10 and getting out at like 4? Well I don't like the 4 idea but I hate getting up early
