Oscar winner Geena Davis will star in ABC's drama pilot Commander in Chief and Rebecca Romijn ("X-Men" films) is closing a deal to topline The WB's drama presentation Pepper Dennis, which now will be shot as a full-blown pilot, says The Hollywood Reporter.

Rod Lurie's two-hour pilot Commander in Chief will star Davis as the first female president of the United States. Touchstone TV is producing.

Davis is from Wareham, MA. She once said some nasty things about that down and I haven't really liked her since.
