Cool Keith Urban Oklahoma City show

My mom and I drove up to OKC to see Keith Urban on Thursday and HOLY CRAP, it was one of the best shows EVAH! It was even better than last October's show in Texas. I touched his arm while he came down into the audience while he played!!!! We were in the 8th row. Brian (estranged4life) and his wife were there also (hey ya'll!! We had fun with you guys...thanks for the ride! ). He played for a loooong time, tore the guitar to shreds and was so freakin' ON!! Some gal even got to go on stage to hug and kiss him. I had made a sign that said "Could I trade photos for a hug?" and had 3 photos of Keith (from last October) and 1 Lindsey photo (had too. LOL) in a plastic sleeve taped to it. We held up the sign, but he chose a gal from Mustang, Oklahoma. I was excited for her and she posts on one of Keith's boards...she's still reeling. I would be too!! LOL I gave the photo pack (and a short letter) to this dude who works for Keith and some other people handed him stuff...so hopefully, Keith will get it. Here is the link to my pics (my pics from Dallas are there too) and I do have videos, but no where to host them.

Keith photos

ETA: OMG, I just read on the KU board that Keith sang after the show last night (Jonesboro) in the parking lot to about 100 people!!! He sang 3-4 songs with his banjo!!! AAAAHHHHH!!!!!! I would have DIED!!!!

Glad that you had such a great time. He sounds like a cool dude.

Your pictures came out good for 8th row. What kind of camera did you use?

Man....That had to be cool, Wished he could've done the same in OKC, But there's no parking lot for the Ford Center (I can't imagine what it would have been like had he decided to perform where we parked the car at ).

Arrow Pattie

It's a Konica Digital Revio KD-500Z. It's 5.0 megapixel...3x zoom. I had a very hard time seeing from the 8th row, so next time, I might spring for first 5 rows, and if that's not available...lower balcony. I'm too short and my legs hurt so bad from standing on my tip toes straining to see over heads and friggin cowboy hats. Dammit. LOL

Wish I'd gone to Jonesboro too.

If you go to www.kmvk.com they are playing ALL Keith songs until midnight (central time). They do it once on month. It's fun and they are raising money for charity too.

You guys sound like you had a blast! I saw Keith Urban here in Vegas when he was opening for Kenny Chesney. We left after Keith's set. I just couldn't stomach Chesney for an entire set. Anyway, my friends and I went early and actually got our picture taken with Keith. He was SO down to earth and adorable. <3 I also saw him in Aug. in Henderson, NV. It was a great show, but I had crapy seats and I was kinda pouty about that

I don't like Chesney either. Congrats on meeting Keith! One of these days, I hope I can meet him.

Dayum that guy is easy on the eyes. I'm going to have to give his stuff a listen with you and Brian raving about him. Thanks for turning me onto a good performer, I look forward to getting to know his stuff.

Keith is momentarily possessed by some demons.

Arrow Bwah!!

The fans call that flippage...and they love it. LOL

Suze...get his latest album, Be Here and also Golden Road....then, the self-titled album (blue album). He's not strictly country, but he is heavily influenced by it, obviously, but he knows how to rock. I think he's disliked by some country purists for not being country enough. People...never satisfied.
