What do you want Stevie to sing this summer?

[David]

Stevie's touring this summer & she's hiring you to plan her set.

1. Midnight in Memphis (Bette Midler)
2. Ta Mo Chleamhnas Deanta (Traditional)
3. Gold & Braid (Stevie Nicks/Tom Moncrief)
4. Under Pressure (Freddie Mercury/David Bowie)
5. If Anyone Falls (Stevie Nicks/Sandy Stewart)
6. Some People (Cliff Richard)
7. Instrumental Break - "Menuet Antique" (Ravel)
8. Outside the Rain (Stevie Nicks)
9. Sweet Betsy from Pike (Traditional

ENCORE

10. Yesterdays (Jerome Kern/Otto Harbach)

[gldstwmn]

Why was Moncrief never credited for G&B?

At Last and The Highwayman AND she MUST belt them and not revert to, as Tower put it - the five note Stevie

I've only been saying that for two years, dear.

Midnight In Memphis along with Shiver Me Timbers (Bette's live arrangment, not the the one from the New Depression album).

Ok here is my little Stevie singing wish list-= Covers, most of them----wouldn't it be great to hear her rendition of these excellent tunes? In no particular order, I might add, and with no connection theme either, for that matter-Just songs I would like to hear again and again...

Walkin after Midnight- Patsy Cline
At Last- Etta James
Someone to lay down beside me-Karla Bonoff
Delta Dawn w/Bette Midler, that would be cool
Mistaken Love- Stevie Demo, I love
I need to know- Tom Petty
Rock a Little- Stevie
and Barracuda...and These Dreams -Heart( I read somewhere that These Dreams was actually written for Stevie, but I don't know if she turned it down or what the strory was...)
Encore= Safe and Warm- Sheryl Crowe

I'd pay top buck to see a show like that

Hi everyone, I'm new. I'm a huge Stevie fan, and while I'm not too thrilled with yet another shed tour and sharing a bill with Henley, I will take any piece of Stevie I can get.

Great thread topic. First, I'll start with what I *know* will be her setlist. As much as I love me some Stevie, she is one predictable woman.

1. Outside The Rain (she'll bring it back)
2. Dreams (I'll fall over dead if this is never her #2 song)
3. Enchanted (she clearly loves this one, I do too)
4. Gold Dust Woman
5. Sorcerer
6. Landslide
7. Rhiannon
8. Stand Back
9. Edge of Seventeen
Encore:
10. I Need To Know
11. HAWAFY

My dream setlist:

1. Outside The Rain (the opener I grew up with and love)
2. Talk To Me
3. Candlebright
4. Gold and Braid
5. Rooms on Fire
6. Beauty and the Beast
7. Too Far From Texas
8. Stop Dragging My Heart Around
9. Stand Back
10. Edge of Seventeen
Encore:
11. Fall From Grace
12. Highwayman or After The Glitter Fades

[skcin]

Bella Donna
Edge of 17
If Anyone Falls
B&tB
TISL
I Can't Wait
Talk To Me
Rooms on Fire
If You Ever Did Believe
Touched by an Angel
Reconsider Me
Stand Back
Think About It
Fall From Grace
The Highwayman

Any Petty song other than I Need To Know

If (yeah, right, "if") she does some of her Mac tunes, I'd prefer something different. I don't think Landslide should ever be done again without LB (or SS, for that matter.) Leave Rhiannon & GDW out this time too. Give me Storms, Angel, EFO, Illume or even That's Alright (I'd actually prefer Straight Back, but I don't think her vocal would be powerful enough now.)

EDIT: I just read Rickypt's post (welcome to the board, btw!) and I also want OTR back.

I think I would trade Just Like a Woman for Blue Lamp though

Thanks for the hello, skcin.

And I need to add "Violet and Blue" to my setlist and will give up Stop Dragging My Heart Around.
