Default Children with the Ph Ds (aka Journalism can kiss my ass)

Just something I wrote.

You know what we did with a raver
We just put him with the nutters
The only way to keep it running
And far away from the gutter
But only in America, the land of all things possible
Can the lunatic be in the norm
Yell and scream, you’re well regarded
In intellectual shape or form

The man who wrote “Crap is king”
He thought that time was reeking?
I hope he have no TV around
He’ll shoot it when he hears the sound

Chorus:
Of the children with the Ph Ds
Screaming like they’re only three
Mommy’s toddler migraine
Bringing all the rating gains
Daddy’s little helpers
Those ****ing little yelpers
Jonny nails it on the head
“You’re hurting America” he said

There’s this lady with a sword
A syndicated column
Nonsensical rants
About the liberal problem
Give her a Peabody (no Pulitzer!)
Give her a show (with Wolf Blitzer)
Make that pinko commie’s head explode

I see that man with
The typical Irish demeanor
While on, he’s Poppy knows best
But off, the loofah says more
He gots the academic degree (a moron could get it)
Yelling at the guests (they don’t mean ****)
Wishing he could wipe ‘em all out

Chorus

My advice to all you stupid students
Before you graduate from Columbia
Just remember to dispose of your notes
In the trashcan of Americana
Free speech may be a bad thing
Especially if owned by Murdoch
You can never say anything
That ain’t by the Administration clock

The man who said “crap is king”
Thought that time was reeking?
The way this country’s bound
They’ll march only to the sound

Chorus (repeat 2x)

“You’re hurting America” (repeat until fade)

We are the jumping jacks, they pull the strings and we dance. Our talents, our possibilities and our lives are all the property of other men. We are intellectual prostitutes. "

Glad there isn't a stanza about Europe too.

I don't know what it's like with the European press. I'm only talking about our American pundits and American journalism in general.
