Tricky - various songs
Erika Badu, certain ones

"Crash Into Me" - Dave Matthews Band
"Sable On Blond" & "Sleeping Angel" - Stevie Nicks
"Ain't Even Done With The Night" - John Mellencamp
"I'm On Fire" - Bruce Springsteen
"Your Body Is A Wonderland" - John Mayer
"So Far Away" - Dire Straits
"Wicked Game" - Chris Isaak

And... I'm almost ashamed to admit this... but there's an entire Backstreet Boys album that can "put me in the mood," because my first boyfriend LOVED the Backstreet Boys, and we were listening to 'Millennium' the first time we kissed (my first male/male kiss, by the way -- yes, at 28 years old), and many times when we were together after that.

To name a few...

"More Than This" Norah Jones
"Sister Honey"
"Candlebright" (for some reason the way Stevie says "still I love you at the end drives me mad)
"More Than a Woman" Aaliyah
"Slide" Ani DiFranco
"Hella Good" No Doubt

I think that's a sweet story.

Oh, yeah. I'd forgotten about her. I loved the song "Come Away with Me."

"China Roses" by Enya is another one.

Thanks.

He wasn't a bad guy, in my opinion, though my friends all referred to him as "The Asshole."
But that moniker was born out of his tendency to put me pretty low on his priority list... so of course my friends were displeased and felt I could do better.

Still, I had some really nice times with him... in the relatively brief time we dated!

There are a few really sad songs that get me going out of nostalgia, because I find them unspeakably romantic and they make me reminisce, which is probably weird. "Here Comes the Flood" is the main one. That's so weird. And "Thirteen" by Big Star. It makes me think of making out with the best maker-outer ever in the high school darkroom. Elliott Smith's either/or, Morrissey's Vauxhall and I, and Jeff Buckley's Grace for the same reason.

Probably way too much info.

D'yer M'aker is a good one! I have Sarah McLachlan doing a short snippet of it, and it sounds way sexier with her voice. The audio is pretty bad, but I can only imagine her singing the whole thing.

I have to add "Adia" to my list, among ten other Sarah songs

I wish I associated that song with 9 1/2 Weeks (I saw it for the first time a few months ago- I had NO IDEA that Mickey Rourke was, at one point, SMOKING HOT- I thought he was ALWAYS a nasty creep, but I was proven wrong). I associate that song with the pasty guys in The Full Monty. Which is why that song personally doesn't do it for me

I love "Brown Eyes"
and "If Anyone Falls" is a very sexy song.
Along with "Talk To Me"
