Default New Version of "Do They Know It's Christmas?"

Just watched the video for it. Thought it was pants.... much prefer the original! All for a good cause though

Pip..I just find the whole thing extremely weak, in terms of voice emotion and overall "hit you in the face" enthusiasm, pity coz there are a couple of good people in there (Fran Healy, Chris Martin). As for that rap bit, hmmm.....I really don't honestly recognise most of the faces, but I am glad to see Robbie Williams face is obscured by that big mike
Methinks it's not best to remake a classic anyway.

ugh it sounds horrible. Why didn't they just re-release the original? I loved that whole effort, great song and great video.

Horrid!

Give me the orginial anytime. It always makes me cry ( I remember when it first aired, I guess they showed it for a long time in one day because my dad had it on for ages...I think...I just remember my dad being into it which was weird to me)

But it is amazing...the new one should be shot and hidden away forever.
