Ok

Fav U2 Album: Achtung Baby

Five top U2 songs:

1. Luminous Times ( Hold on to Love)
2. Whose Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses
3. October
4. Unchained Melody
5. End of the World

Best U2 memory: Sitting in my room when I was in 9th grade and listening to Acthung Baby, which had just come out, over and over and over again. I read the lyrics and got lost in them and it still casts the same spell on me.

U2 concerts you have seen: NOT ONE

Fav U2 Album:

The Unforgettable Fire, hands down. Coming in next are Achtung Baby and War.

Five top U2 songs:

Only five!? -_-

- Bad (Any version, but the Live Aid version is stunning.)
- One
- A Sort of Homecoming
- 11 O' Clock Tick Tock/New Years Day
- Where the Streets Have No Name

All of them are at the moment, except for number one. Favorite song of all time, etc.

Best U2 memory:

Oh man. I remember when I was really young, my dad played U2 all of the time. They're the first band that I can remember really loving a lot, and liking for pretty much my entire life.

U2 concerts you have seen:

-_- none. But I am DEFINITELY going to see them on the tour for HTDAAB, though. I wanted to see them on the Elevation tour, but it was sold out almost immediately.

Fav U2 Album: Achtung, followed closely by Zooropa.

Five top U2 songs:

Stay (Faraway, So Close) - hands down my absolute favorite, period.
Sweetest Thing
In God's Country
The Fly
I Will Follow

Best U2 memory: I fell in love with ATYCLB as the soundtrack. These are the moments of our lives.

U2 concerts you have seen: Just one. Elevation, Phoenix 2001. Oh, and the time I had a great ticket for the Elevation tour in Chicago that same year? Yeah, it was hilarious when I threw my back out completely and couldn't move, let alone skank to the beat, and my boyfriend took my roommate. HAAAA. Worst ever.

Exclamation Hmmm....

Fav U2 Album:

The Unforgettable Fire, the song "Bad" alone is worth the price of admission...Btw, I like how U2 added "The Unforgettable Fire" doctumentary onto the "go Home-Live From Slane Castle, Ireland" DVD (The video for "Pride (In The Name Of Love)" is one of my favorite videos from the ol' days of TBS' "Night Tracks" video show)

Five top U2 songs:

1.Bad
2.With or Without You
3.Kite
4.New Year's Day
5.Pride (In The Name Of Love)

Best U2 memory:

Watching the U2 video of "New Year's Day" years ago on the before-mentioned "Night Tracks", Then later seeing the "Live-Under A Blood Red Sky" video recorded at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado.

U2 concerts you have seen:

None...YET!!! Will be changing that this coming winter/spring!!! (But I have a ton of live bootlegs of U2 from throughout their history...Let's put it this way, The U2 boots are the Ferrari's of boots & the Fleetwood Mac boots are a 1976 Ford Pinto station wagon of boots!!!)

U2 had me at "Gloria". I thought that anybody that can get away with singing in Latin and be cool HAD to be something special...
"Where The Streets Have No Name" the video, when I saw it for the first time it was...exhilarating!
"So Cruel" kills me.
As far a them doing a cover, I'll admit it, I am SUCH a sap...I LOVE "Everlasting Love"
Oh no, I can't stop..."With Or Without You" is like SUCH a masterpiece!

Fav U2 Album:
Pop. An unpopular choice maybe. But I can't get enough of it.

Five top U2 songs:
Last day on earth
Gloria
I Will Follow (and the videoclip is priceless )
Peace
Bad
Ah #$@#$. There's probably dozens I forgot about.

Best U2 memory:
The 1993 concert that I saw with my sis
They were NUTS back then. Nothing like 2001, when they actually stopped early because people had to catch their trains.
Nice memory about the 2001 concert, Bono dedicated a song to dutch singer/artist Herman Brood, who had committed suicide only days before. Apparently they'd been friends.
Or the time that Anton Corbijn had a photo exhibition in Groningen, and Bono showed up at the opening. But I was so stupid to go to an exam, instead of to the museum. Tss. Could have been my coolest U2-memory, but I had to act'responsible'.

U2 concerts you have seen:
10-5-1993, Rotterdam, Zooropa tour
and ??/??/2001, Arnhem.

The 1993 concert was my fave... That stuff with the trabi's, very cool.

Wink

Fav U2 Album: It's a straight tie between Achtung Baby, Joshua Tree and All You Can't Leave Behind.

Five top U2 songs: 1) I Still Havent Found What I'm Looking For 2) One 3) Stay 4) With or Without You 5) New Years Day

Best U2 memory: My first "real" memories of watching MTV and Vh1 in 1992 when "Mysterious Ways" was always on rotation

U2 concerts you have seen: March 2001 Elevelation show in Atlanta. It boggled my mind.
