Autographs

[ryan8472]

What autographs of celebrities do you have?

I don't really collect them, so I only have two; Micheal Dorn (Of Star Trek:The Next Generation, and Deep Space Nine) and Rick Ankiel, formally of the St. Louis Cardinals.

[wondergirl9847]

I don't think I can list everybody....there's too many. I can list the ones off the top of my head, how's that?

Priscilla Presley (VERY nice lady!)

Patrick Swayze (I didn't personally get it, he was at the opening of Planet Hollywood, Dallas, and some guy got it for me, but I was less than 10 feet from Patrick. LOL)

Bobby Sherman (VERY sweet guy!)

Michael W. Smith (Christian music artist, AWESOME guy!!)

DC Talk (Christian singers)

Newsboys (Christian singers)

Bryan Duncan (Christian singer)

Rebecca St. James (Christian singer)

Bob Carlisle (Butterfly Kisses dude.)

August Shellenberger (actor...Free Willy and other stuff)

Lauren Lane (CC on The Nanny....wonderfully sweet lady!)

Justin Guarini (AWESOME guy!)

Lindsey Buckingham (LOL!! He rules, ya know.)

Delta Burke (sweet lady!)

members of Petra and Whiteheart (Christian rock groups)

Dennis Hopper (VERY nice guy!)

Gregory Sierra (Julio on Sanford and Son, Walker, Texas Ranger...very nice guy!)

I've met Chuck Norris, but no autograph for me, since my mom worked on the Walker set for a little while. She's a HUGE Chuck fan.

My mom has more autographs than me....including Amy Irving (ex Mrs. Steven Spielberg, actress in Carrie and others), Gary Busey, James Woods, Danny Glover and Kathy Bates.

Jars of Clay (Christian group)

Avalon (Christian group)

Mark Lowry (singer in Gaither Vocal Band and Christian comedian)

That's all I can think of right now.

[77Rumours77]

The band Boston (they signed the debut album and my Don't Look Back CD)
Amy Grant (She signed her Christian CD)

[wondergirl9847]

Awww...I would love to meet Miss Amy. I saw her in concert once, she made me cry. My fave album of hers is Unguarded.

May I ask, where you got her autograph?

[DrummerDeanna]

Well, the only celeb autograph I've acquired for myself is Jason Biggs..

My sister got the autographs of Mesach (sp?) Taylor of Mannequin and Designing Women fame and Ernie Hudson - who signed his autograph, "To Deanna, How you gonna call? Ernie Hudson" hahha...my sister informed him that I was once obsessed with Ghostbusters II haha...

[golddustwoman77]

(1) I have several items that are signed by the Mac:
2 album covers that are signed by Lindsey; 1 promo flat that is signed by Lindsey, Stevie, Mick, John, and Christine; 1 Rolling Stone Magazine (Stevie on the cover) signed by Stevie, and eight pages of hand-written lyrics and artwork by Lindsey.

(2) I grew up very close to Nashville and still live pretty close to Nashville. Therefore I have several country music stars autographs: Barbara Mandrell (country singer), Gary Morris (country singer), Toby Keith (country singer), and Billy Ray Cyrus (country singer).

(3) Pete Best (first drummer for the Beatles---pre Ringo)

I think there is more, but that is all I can think of right now.

[darklinensuit]

I don't have many. Sting and Andrea Jaeger come to mind. I once got Simon le Bon's for my girlfriend.
As I've mentioned, the Chicago bookstore I managed used to get a lot of celebs & kept an autograph book, so most of the autographs I got there (other than the three listed above) went into it. The book included Meg Ryan, Annette Benning (sp.), Johnny Cash, Julia Child, Greg Louganis, Eve Plumb, Loreena McKennitt, Nick Nolte, Debbie something (skater from '88 Olympics, I think), Diana Ross, & several I forgot. These days I'm not sure who has the book.

[estranged4life]

Ken Schrader (Driver of the #49 BAM Dodge, My friend Kelli had Ken sign it to "Brian in Oklahoma")

Hermie Sadler (Driver of the #02 car)

Nuno Bettencourt, Gary Cherone, Pat Badger & Paul Geary of the band Extreme

Mark Slaughter, Dana Strum (He's an asshole), Blas Elias & the late Tim Kelly of Slaughter

Some Australian country musician named Keith Urban (Actually it's Deb's autograph)

Some short black dress wearing owner of the "2 birds of Rhiannon named Stevie...

[GretaRhiannon]

I've got 3

Gillian Anderson
David Duchovny
Shania Twain

[dissention]

I have:

Susan Sarandon- I've met her twice and she's a real sweetheart!!!!!!!!

Whoopi Goldberg- I met her at a book signing back in '97 and she's a fantastic woman. Very talkative and funny.

Saul Bellow- Funny story. I had just bought a new copy of one of my favorite books, Henderson the Rain King, and as I walked out of the bookstore...he was walking by. I got him to sign it.

Camryn Manheim- LOVE her to death. I sent her a letter telling her how much I loved her book and her attitudes about life and she sent me a letter back. What a doll.

I met Michael Douglas in a smokeshop in Vermont (he's incredibly short), but didn't get an autograph.

[Violet]

I don't have a lot, but the ones I can think of are:

TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS:
Brad Johnson
Tony Dungy (ex-coach)
Marcus Jones
Joe Jurevicius
John Lynch (yummy)

Jeremy Roenick from the Flyers
Evel Kenevil (sp?)
David Cassidy
Vanna White

My husband gets them at work sometimes. He doesn't usually like to ask, unless he gets a good vibe from the person.

Carol

[DeadliestPoison]

I have John McVie's. My sister managed to get Jared Leto's autograph (of Requiem For A Dream, etc fame), but since he was with his band it's some weird symbol.

And that's all. But I hope to get Lindsey's at the Detroit show.

I like her too. An Austin friend reminds me of her. BTW, have you heard anything about what she's doing since that Practice/Betty White thread? I read weeks ago that she's supposed to be in a new comedy, but I'd much rather see her in a drama, I think.

BTW, did Susan Sarandon sign hers Ms. P. Mantis?

No, she didn't.

Manheim has, I think, three or four movies coming out last I heard. One of the movies she's producing and starring in. And she has a new spin-off of The Practice for ABC where she move sback to the mid-west with her kid.

I have Clem Burke's (of Blondie fame) autograph. I met him before my Blondie show back in May- He was so nice. I acted like an ass and stuttered and stared at the ground the whole time, though. I was in total "I'm not worthy!" mode. But, I have my Atomic 45 sleeve all signed now .
