Have you been in San Diego? or Tijuana?

I don't know what to do for next vacations (late september).

I have invitation to Miami, no, err... actually Coral Springs, northwest form Fort Lauderdale (would be my 30th time in Florida)

And friends in Rosarito and Tijuana, where I would visit also San Diego (I'd arrive to LA o SD, don't know).
But I'm not convinced. It's nice San Diego. What places do you recommend there? And what about Tijuana area? Have you been in Rosarito or Ensenada?

Unfortunately last mac concert is sept. 14, and I don't think I can be in US by that date. My vacations should be for the third or 4th week of september
