He needs to pay back the people who's pensions were lost and lives shattered as a result of this debacle at his hands. However, he's had plenty of time to stash the assets now. I would love to see the heat get hot enough for him to sing on the secret energy meetings with Cheney but that ain't gonna happen either.
In the end, I think he'll end up like Milken unless a certain lame duck president gives him a Christmas Eve pardon.

I can't believe it's taken this long. And I think he's foolish for walking around in these expensive suits. Those ought to play well.

I taught Fastow's lawyer's son this year, and he wanted to give me updates every week. To be honest, I just hope justice wins, but I'm not terribly interested in the detailed stories.

The only reason Lay is going down in so that Bush can get some public support back. However, if he's convicted by the time Bush ends his term in January of '05, expect a pardon.

It was still worth it to watch him do the perp walk. Now if I could only get to see Bush/Cheney et al do the same thing.

It timed perfectly with the new Osama terra threat. I swear to God, it's like the Ministry Of Propaganda.
Ah well, off to bed and to read some more of Larry Flynt's new book, which is great by the way.

I have it on pre-order and still haven't gotten it yet!! Argh! Great to hear that's it fab, though.

The new terra warning is ridiculous. I'm shocked they haven't gone up another notch on the Sherwin Willaims paint chart.

There is no WAY Bush will be able to get away with a pardon of Lay. But, other Pres. have been equally as bold, so . . . . .
