Default Saw Madonna Tonight...

I got decent seats last minute for only $50.

It was worth it. I was skeptical but it was great. I really enjoyed myself.

Anyone else see her show?

Glad you enjoyed the show. I saw her almost twenty years ago at Live Aid. These days I wouldn't knoe half her songs.

I saw her in DC. The day after FM's Cleveland show. I loved it. I'm a big pop fan anyway. I thought her voice was amazing....I was surprised that she can really sing. I especially loved how she "reinvented" every song to make it sound different. When she rocked out 'Burning Up' and 'Material Girl' by playing electric guitar, I about died! Those two songs, and 'Like a Prayer' were the highlights for me.

Burning up was soooo great! It was impossible to stand still!

I loved all the dancing too and the way she always got in the middle of it. She is a true entertainer, if anything!

I also loved Deeper and Deeper and how she changed Tell Me, or whatever the title is , mixing the Verve with it and dancing.

Playing guitar was cool too. It was great.

Janet,

I especially loved the CIRCUS SECTION of the set....I thought it was really fun. And how good was 'Crazy For You'?!?!?!?! I thought she kicked ass with that song, and 'Frozen'. I was in awe the whole night. Too bad she didn't really have an encore but 'Music' leading into 'Holiday' was a great way to end.

Default Madonna

I saw her earlier this year, and I will say she was awsome, I LOVED Crazy for You and Material Girl, Express Yourself and Holiday. I will agree that she sounded great, in fact whoever does her sound the Mac should hire, since I found their sound a bit sketchy last year... I remember dancing the whole time, it was a great show and well worth the money, was sooo glad she didn't change Vogue like they said she was going to, a bit of a politically charged show...

Wear comfortable shoes, you will probably be standing the entire time, if not for dancing then just to see, the crowd is a bit more active then a Mac crowd.

Meaning you won't get things thrown at you for standing.

Thanks for the heads up! I always stand the entire time at the Mac concerts though. If it is someone I really love, it is a respect thing to me. Standing+singing along=respect for the artist or at least participating in the show in some way. I hate it when people sit down on songs they don't know or dislike. I think it is just really disrespectful to the artist performing.

Anyway, I'm just so glad I'm finally going to get to see her!

I saw Madonna. She "changed" (although she really didn't) her name a few days after my show.

Screaming "Ester...Ester" is so much harder than "Madonna...Madonna"

In about fifty years the name Esther should fit her fine.
