Default You Got To Know When To Fold

What card games do you know how to play?
I admit I don't know many. My grandmother lived in Atlantic City & taught me some when I was little, and others I learned from friends.
I can play:
- War
- Go Fish
- Solitaire
- Gin

I used to play Knuckles (Bloody Knuckles) and Casino, but I can't remember the rules right now.
A friend in Austin & a friend here are addicted to Poker, but believe it or not, I've never played.

And for those of you who don't recognize the lyric in the thread title, how's this: "I was the dealer...It wasn't hard..."

- Jake

I can play:
-Hearts
-Spades
-Poker
-Solitaire
-Oh Hell

Also Presidents and Assholes, which to me is more of a drinking game than a card game.

I played Hearts once almost fifteen years ago.
Never heard of Oh Hell or the Presidents one.

Wait, I wanna know if there is actually anyone who wouldn't recognize that lyric...unless, wait...is it a trick? I don't remember the lyric you put above. Is another lyric "then he bummed a cigarette, and asked me for a light. So we took turns a starin, out the window at the darkness, boredom overtook (someone) and he began to speak..."

Apparently Steven Speilberg taught Bill Clinton how to play Oh Hell. Just a piece of useless trivia for you.

I'm lame.

Crazy eights
Kemps (!!!!!!)
Go Fish
War
Solitaire
And some game my grandma taught me. I don't know if it has a name. You put down eight cards face up and cover the matching cards with new ones until you have no cards left.

-War (that? is a rough game )
-Solitaire
-Go Fish
-Rummy/500 Rummy
-Spit
-Egyptian Rat Screw
-Spoons

There was also another game...I can't remember the name of it but you have to slap the other persons hand. We used to beat the hell out of each other...we were way too hardcore about that cardgame

Sounds like our Crazy Eights. I was playing it in school with Lauren and we'd dart for the cards so fast we ended up just slapping each other like crazy. Then she said I was cheating.

I don't think I'd count Uno. Or Pokeeno/Pokereeno, which my grandmother played.

Like I said, am I the only one who remembers Bloody Knuckles?

How could I forget Spit?

And Egyptian Rat Screw. Never heard of it. Named after your love-life?
