New Chris interview

[DWIG]

When out shopping today, spotted a magazine called The Word (UK) which has a new interview featuring Chris. It is 2 pages long, with pics. Only scanned through it, so didnt see much mentioned about Stevie or FM. But they do seem to focus on Chris' relationship with Dennis Wilson.

Just thought i'd alert everyone to this

Is this a music magazine?

I wonder of Borders etc carries this here in the US.

Yep, it's a UK music mag.
I'll take a look for it and scan it, if no one else has by the time I get it.

I'm in the U.S. Can you buy this magazine anywhere online?

Most Borders and Barnes & Nobles carry music magazines from the UK and other parts of the world, but they take awhile to get the latest issues.

Here's a link to The Word website and what the cover looks like if you are looking for it.

You can see Christines name down the left panel of the magazine.

Isn't that funny, several months ago I was scrounging around trying to find info on Dennis and Chris. I wound up on a Strawberry Alarm Clock message board and chatted several times with one of the original band members. That almost took me down to L.A. where they were having a reunion show for Beyond the Valley of the Dolls... HA HA!! It's crazy where the internet can take you when you start surfing for something. Has this happened to anyone else or is it just me? I must be...

Anyway, looking forward to a scan of the article.

Oh my God! Jeff Buckley is on the cover *swoon * He’s the most influential artist of 2004 apparently

Anyway here’s the Chris article. I've scanned it myself just for you guys.

Clink on the links to see it big!

Thanks Sharon!

"Pretentious twot." <-- lol, best Christine quote ever.

Thanks for scanning it for us, Sharon! Great read!

Wow, Dennis looks hot in that pic.

Thanks for scanning the article. Terrific picture of Christine, too. I've got to get this magazine. Is this magazine published weekly or monthy? I know Jeff Buckley is on the cover. What month or week is this particular issue? I noticed that you can order single issues via their website.

Thanks again!

Thank you, Sharon!

Poor Chris isn't too lucky in love either: John, Dennis, Eddy.

Thanks so much for posting this! You made my day. I was at Border's today and they had May's issue of Word, and said June "would come in whenever it comes in".

It is so fantastic to see/hear/read new stuff from her after such a long period of *nothing*!! I was in withdrawal. :-)

It's a monthly magazine. The interview with Chris is in the July issue (issue number 17), and yes Jeff is on the cover.

It's a great article alright, I especially like Chris' explanation to why Rumours was so huge - I had never thought of it that way, but it's probably true. She looks fabulous in that picture too!
