Yup, that's what they call heroin addicts in the joint. I love how she puts it.

"Ooh, the tar people are back again..."

Yup, they came back to see ya, Stevie! Sing 'em some Docklands, it's sure to be a sobering experience.

19. Unconditional Love (almost as cliched as my venemous hate towards Shrub)
18. Jane (the "forgotten chimpanzees" get me all verklempt)

16. When I See You Again (staring at stairs...gets me every time)
15. Love Is Dangerous (standing at the crossroads...OH YEAH, ain't it wild?!)
14. Listen To the Rain (she listened and the rain told her to write about listening)
13. Imperial Hotel (she stayed at the White House?!)
12. Two Kinds Of Love (I hate listening, I say "I hate this!")
11. That Made Me Stronger ("Can you write this for me, he says no, I wouldn't put my name on this")

And...I'm pooped...what else for bad songs? None, I don't think.

Imperial Hotel is NOT a bad song, IMO.

The vocal isn't, I quite like it, and I like the music. But the lyrics stink and are a prime example of self-indulgence and cheese, IMO.

Post Seven songs, seven wonders.

20 faves are too much. Here's my list:

7.Storms
6.Sara
5.Gold Dust Woman
4.Sisters of the Moon
3.Silver Springs
2.Edge Of Seventeen
1.Trouble In Shangri-La

I would like to add Seven Wonders, but lyrics are not completely hers.
I have not payed attention to Nightbird lyrics, but since I see this in several lists, I'll check it.

BTW is 7 to one, and it's top to bottom, so Storms is the best. That's my feeling today.

Nightbird & Seven Wonders almost made my list, especially the latter.

Sorry, I disagree. For example, I love the "unspoken words" line on the same album that includes similar lyrics in I Can't Wait and No Spoken Word. There's a connection that I like.
