Default Fleetwood Mac and Saturday night live

Wouldn't it be nice if either Christine or FM appears on SNL, as host and musical guest. If not FM, then maybe Christine. She'd be hilarious as a host.

I'm sure I could find this out somewhere else, but did Fleetwood Mac ever play SNL? What about Stevie?

Lightbulb No...

FM has never been on SNL, but Lindsey was. During the Law and Order era, he did Trouble and Bwana. Was Stevie on the show, I'm sure she was, didn't she do Stand Back and Nightbird?

Yup, she did I believe it was 1983. Lindsey's performance was in 82. I also think that Mick and The Zoo did a couple of songs on SNL once along with Lindsey in 83.

Did any of them appear in a few sketches. I can already imagine Mick in a few silly sketches. And Stevie too.

Stevie's performance of "Stand Back" in December 1983 was filmed just about one month after the end of her Wild Heart Tour. It gave fans who didn't get the chance to see her on the later leg of the tour a chance to witness her awesome might at that time, which swamped across the footlights like a terrifying flood of Biblical proportions. It is one of the great filmed performances from the annals of Fleetwood Mac history. And yet it is but a mere tantalizing hint of her supreme, cosmic power & majesty on the late leg of the Wild Heart Tour.

Let us bow our heads & remember Stevie's titanic greatness.

And when we're done thanking the gods for that, let's rip open those vaults again & grab us some Wild Heart concert soundboards & video!

Actually I disagree. I saw her on a few popular shows during her 1984 stint.

I think Paula set you up with one. Better yet, join the Stevie Brigade to help hunt down video of the late tour shows. Stevie was never more awe-inspiring than in the shows from 9-24 (Irvine Meadows) through the end of November. The Forum show (10-02) alone, which I attended, thank Christ, is my Holy Grail of recordings.
