GYPSY 83 FINALLY HITS THEATERS!

At long last, GYPSY 83 will be starting its theatrical run starting at New York City's Village East Cinemas on Friday, April 16th. This will be followed by openings in most major cities throughout the spring and early summer.

The film chronicles the journey of small-town misfits Gypsy (Sara Rue, "Less Than Perfect", "Popular") and Clive (Stephen King's "Kingdom Hospital") as they make their way to "Night of 1000 Stevies" in New York City.

To celebrate the New York release, please join members of the cast and crew (including star Sara Rue and director Todd Stephens) for a Stevie Premiere Party on April 17th. We're hoping all New York area Gypsies will make the pilgrimage and join us at this warm-up to Night of 1000 Stevies. Who's up for a roadtrip!?

GYPSY 83 PREMIERE STEVIE GATHERING
(to be followed by the evening screening of the film)
Saturday, April 17th -- 7pm
Tenth Street Lounge
212 East 10th Street (between 2nd and 1st Avenues)

Featuring Stevie Music and fab GIVEAWAYS including signed posters, movie memorabilia, and one-of-a-kind merchandise from www.destinygalleria.com! We recommend buying movie tickets a few days ahead of time at www.moviefone.com.

Opening weekend is vital for independent films such as ours, so if you can attend a screening when it premieres in your city, that would be awesome. By the way, we're hoping everyone dresses for the occasion -- so break out your handkerchief hem skirts and beribboned tambourines. Please help us spread the word!

Based on the plot synopsis, I'd say this movie has little in common with Bertolucci's "Before the Revolution"!

I'm not intrested in this movie at all. And I personally don't care if it EVER comes to theatres. I'm happy some of you are excited for this, but I could care less.
