The one she wore in the live video of "Sarah" with her hair up.

Cool

Gotta go with the polka dot Stand Back shawl.

Maybe. But not with me or Christine or Lindsey. Christine and I will always be close; Lindsey just plain doesn't like me. I never had any musical training of any kind. I just had this innate ability to walk in, sit down at a piano, and write a song in five minutes, and go to bed. It drives him nuts. - Stevie Nicks, 1994

I was going to post this thread. (Actually, mine was going to be, Design/describe a shawl for one of Stevie's songs that doesn't already have one. A little different, I guess.)

Based on the aesthetics (sp.), I like the one that's pinned to the back of Stevie's head in the HBO concert version of Rhiannon. It's made of black lace, I think.

However, the Stand Back shawl gives a thrill to any fan. You know what's coming so your heart leaps. IMO the early 80s Rhiannon shawl is the prettiest; the Stand Back shawl is the most exciting/fun.

The GDW shawl that was on the Dance video. I hate the current ones; they look cheap. The Dance shawl was stunning.

The Sara (not "Sarah" ) shawl is great. But I LOVED the SOTM one in the Tusk video.

I like the long, pink shawl-like thing (I think it has sleeves though) that she wore during the SYW tour. I think she either wore it during "Goodbye Baby" or "Gypsy" but I can't remember!

Either way. she can wrap her shawl around me. Like a bear through the night. Like a charmed hour and a haunted song.................and the Angels.

The Blue Lamp shawl, the one that she wore on the cover of the After the Glitter Fades 7" single. I love that one, along with the SOTM, GDW and Sara shawls

That's my favorite, too -- that rich dark blue one.

Let's face it. Stevie makes anything look good.
It's not the item of clothing. It's the person in it.
Somehow, I think she could make a brown, paper bag look good.
Like paper flowers.
