'Say You Will' was released as a 5.1 mix on DVD-Audio, at the same time the regular album was released last year.
You can find it by following this link to the disc on Amazon.com, and I know other Ledgies have also seen it in stores like Best Buy and Circuit City.

DVD-Audio editions of 'Fleetwood Mac' and 'Tusk' are expected to be released this March (the date is subject to change), at the same time as the Expanded & Remastered editions of those albums (and 'Rumours') are released on standard CDs.

Hope this helps!

Thank you so much for the help! I was wondering why it didn't sound any different. I will have to check the SYW out. Thanks again. I am anxious to hear all of them. Do you find there is a big difference?

Default Tusk on 5.1?

Actually I have a really nice Klipsch 6.1 setup in my home. (I'm an audio geek) and I think the Rumours 5.1 DVD Audio sounds very hollow in true 5.1. When you bump it down to stereo it sounds much better. I think the reason for that is that the source material of the original Rumours album probably wasn't that great.

I think the new Say You Will album sounds better in 5.1 DVD Audio. This format has just recently come to the forefront along with SACD so I think albums that are recorded currently have a better mix option for 5.1.

I don't know anything about any more 5.1 releases for the Mac other than the Boston DVD. I know Rumours and Tusk are still on schedule to be re-released on CD in November.

Thanks! I hope to get it soon. At least one of them. I am in the middle of trying to decide which speakers right now..... Long story.....
That would have to be tough to remaster the older music. So far I thought it sounds pretty good on the 4.1. system......

Unhappy 5.1???

Glad you brought this up!!!5.1 Rumours did sound
hollow to my ear which has good pitch! Been afraid to
say anything! Of course we still like the lovely analog
sounds with the heart and soul showing!!! Bye,Sky

ps...It was played at a friends studio with all the right
speakers and so forth! We than played the old version
and it somehow was more deep and melodious!
