Default FM dreams

Have you ever had dreams where members of FM or even the whole band appeared?

Bear with me, ladies and gents: it's a long list.

Once, the whole band came over to my house. Lindsey was a jerk in the dream, yet Mick was so polite!

Another time, I was at Stevie's house, and there was a party going on. Sadly, I never saw her.

I had this one when all day, I was thinking what the Little Lies video was like (I hadn't seen it yet at the time), and part of the dream was what I thought was a part of the video. It was only Lindsey, standing in an autumn forest. All he did was stare at me, throw his porkpie hat down and it caught on fire as it hit the ground.

One of my personal faves: Christine came over to my parents' house and she was talking to my parents. Funny thing was she was wearing all black, including a veil, yet she was wearing a pink poodle skirt!

My other personal fave: I was posing on the Mirage cover (the surroundings were all black) and I was taking Stevie's place. What happened is that Lindsey actually kissed me on the lips!! Two things:
One: I felt that kiss.
Two: I had a 103.4 fever that night. Hmmm, feverish fantasy, perhaps?

~~

So, what dreams did you fellow Ledgies have?

God bless!

I have had many dreams with Stevie and the band as well...

The most prominent is one where I was at a concert, and not close to the stage and Lindsey says, "I will let one person back stage, and it's whoever can scream the loudest..." so two whore girls in the front row get it, but as they're getting on the stage I yell, "HEY!! I was yelling WAY louder, but you couldn't hear me because I'm back here!!!" So Lindsey says, "You're right!! Come on Back!!!"
So, I go backstage...and it's all strange and cavernous, the walls are like cave walls....and I look and in one corner, John is just playing his bass, and Mick is reading a book, I look over at a vanity type thing and Christine is brushing her hair, and then..I glance over at another vanity thing and Stevie in bent over it doing something I can't see...and I'm just standing there...that's it..

In another dream, I'm at an FM concert, and after the concert I see Stevie's limo, and go to the window and am talking to her, but she is ignoring me, then the limo starts driving away, so I grab onto the window frame...and then let go, and just start flying next to the limo lol...

Those are only two of many lol...

i've had many through the years....but i had another the other night...was going to start a thread but thought it was too corny.

anyway, it's really short. i'm at a current FM show and, much to my surprise, they're playing "Sisters of the Moon"....so, in the dream, i'm worried because i just didn't think Stevie could do the song justice compared to the way she used to perform it. She was wearing black, but had this goldish/grey shawl over her "black dress"....actually, it sort of looked like that thing she was wearing in the "enchanted" tour during "Edge of 17"...anyway, when i first saw her, she was kind of just standing there (i think it was during an instrumental break in the song) in front of Mick's drums, and she wasn't really doing anything at all....kind of emotionless too. Then, i have the point of view from the stage and i see Lindsey walking out into the audience playing this great solo....i then look back at Stevie and she's moving around and smiling and all that...So, it was decent after all - but still not the way it used to be.

That's about it....i guess the main point is that subconsciously i wish they would do that song but yet, i know it's good that they don't because the new version would probably pale in comparison to the old.

OMG! Yes! I had a dream about a week ago that I was interviewing Lindsey and then he turned the interview around and started asking me questions, really inane ones like, "who do you think the best male actor of the past 20 years is?" It was really, really, weird. The questions he was asking me were like topics that we would discuss on the chit chat forum! It's like both worlds, Fleetwood Mac and The Ledge were coming together in my dream!! Freaky!

I've mentioned this before, but sadly in every one of my dreams, Stevie is mean to me. I guess mean really isn't the word, especially since I'm so overzealous about meeting her, but she's very reserved toward me. I really don't know why. The last one I remember, I turned on VH1 Classic, and it was just starting a video of them at an outdoor concert that I'd never seen (of course, because it didn't exist), and they did the best GYOW I'd heard. It was definitely supposed to be a Rumours concert, but then it turned out to be a live performance from right next door to my house. All the audience had left, but Stevie was still inside the house, so I stood outside and waited. The neighbor (who was imaginary because whoever it was, I don't know her) was standing at the door, and I was talking to her family out in the driveway waiting for Stevie to come out. When she did, I ran up to her to meet her as she didn't have any security or whatever, and she hurried and pulled the screen door shut and told the neighbor to keep me back. So she came out and just kind of stared at me as she was walking past, and I apologized for scaring her. She just kind of looked at me and said something I can't remember, and I woke up.

Actually, now that I think about it, for a while I was having this recurring dream where Stevie was doing a concert, and I was the first there, so I got front row, but it was my old high school auditorium (or at least looked like it). I think I literally dreamed her doing the entirety to Outside the Rain, Dreams, Gold Dust Woman, Gold and Braid, and then Edge of 17 (there was the whole concert, but those are the only ones I seemed to remember), and I remember being disappointed because she didn't come out for an encore. I think I had this same exact dream about 3 or 4 times. Then of course I tried to get backstage and couldn't.

Other dreams involve Stevie coming to my high school, which I was still in high school in the dream, and I jumped on the limo when it came up and she was nice to everyone but me. And another I was going through orientation for a new job, and we passed through a room where Lindsey was doing some editing/mixing work. We were told not to talk to anyone but I couldn't help stopping to talk to him. Can't remember what was said...but yes, many, MANY dreams I've had about the Mac.

Ever since I heard we got tickets to the SYW concert I had tons of dreams! I was kinda releaved when I finally went to the concert and they went away... they were getting too weird.

Once I was going to play back up guitar for Lindsey, but seeing I wasn't a member of the band, they all thought it best if the audiance didn't see me play. So I was placed behind Mick, but after the concert started, the crowd noticed me, and started yelling at me to get off the stage. So got off stage, and after the show was over, Lindsey patted me on the back sympathetically and said, "Don't worry, they just like me better."

Another one was when my brother, uncle and I were at teh SYW concert. They opened up with the Chain, followed by Dreams. ANd by the time we got to dreams, I noticed that the rest of the crowd wasn't singing along, screaming their heads off, or even blinking. They were all zombies!!! So I tugged on my uncle's shirt to get his attention, and he noticed them too. Then we told my brother, who was still jumping up and down, screaming his head off in praise to the band. He said, so what, so we jsut stuck with that comment, and comtinued our screaming.

And another... We were at the SYW concert, but it was outdoors; Blossom Theater is I wasn't mistaken. The band came out, and started playing all the Chris songs, which the audience didn't care much for since Chris wasn't participating, and it was making everyone really depressed. So they stared booing. The band ran back stage. My brother and I, somehow being in nosebleed seats AND having backstage passes, struggled to get back there, but eventually we did. When we got back stage, Lindsey was chewing on his pick nervously, and whimpering about how he doesn't know what to do with Christine. So my brother says, "Hey... um, I know! You can play The Chain! Christine doesn't have a big part in it!" So they went back on stage, played the chain, and my brother saved the day... however we still had to return to our horrible seats.

Okay, LAST ONE: We were at the SYW concert, but this time it was held in a high school. We had front row seats, and were very excited, until the band finally comes out, and Stevie says into her mic, "Ladies and Gentlemen, I'd like to introduce to you, the newest member of Fleetwood Mac." And Emmylou Harris walked onto the stage.

Over the years, I'm sure I've had TONS of Fleetwood Mac dreams, but right now, two stand out.

I was in a dark castle running for my life - and Lindsey was after me with an axe. No kidding! How weird is that?!?!

And I've had various dreams where Fleetwood Mac has played a concert for me. Once was in my local mall (where I had backstage access!), and another was in my grade school gym. During the dream where the concert was in the school gym, all the audience members LEFT when Lindsey started playing "I'm So Afraid" so my friend and I went up front! And after the song, Lindsey looked down and said "I'm glad you stayed around." *sigh*

Quite a difference from being scared ****less by an axe-wielding Lindsey! Hmmm....axe = guitar....interesting...

Before the Say You Will Ford Center Show, In Oklahoma, I had a dream that Stevie was at my Aunt's house, and she was asking me to choose a song for her to perform, and I chose RTTG, and then I woke up... I was sad... I guess the dropping of that song really did something to me

Hehe that's really funny!

I had a FM dream like last week. I was Christine's replacement for SYW so it was Mick, John, Stevie, Lindsey and me. We were promoting the album and we were doing this acoustic version of Say You Will or Peacekeeper on T.V. and I remembered that it sounded really good because there was a three part harmony and a guitar. It was a great dream. They were all really nice to me.

I dreamt I was auditioning as a guitarist for Buckingham's OUT OF THE CRADLE band.....This was when he was dangerously single......... After the try-out, Buckingham politely told me I didn't make the cut.......... I couldn't hold back the tears.............

At that moment he takes my hand.....pulls me close.....and gives me a long, romantic kiss............ Before I could unbutton his shirt even further than it was...............I woke up.........
