Default Fanclub update

Didn't they say memberships would be extended for a full year? Oh well. 6 months is better than nothing. And I didn't buy one of the calendars yet, so that will be nice.

--------

Fleetwood Mac Fan Club, membership has it’s privileges.

Hello Mac Fans,

The new fan club management team, Signatures Network, has been hard at work on the fan club for 2004. Earlier in November you received a bit of information on what was planned and today we wanted to give you a more detailed update! The items below will be offered to all existing members:

1. In recognition of members’ loyalty, it has been decided to EXTEND ALL MEMBERSHIPS SIX MONTHS.
2. You will be given an across the board discount in the Official Fleetwood Mac Online Store of 10-50%. Discounts will be active by 12/7.
3. You will be receiving a 2004 Fleetwood Mac calendar.
4. You will also receive a letter from the band.
5. Continued access to the members website.
6. Access to presale tickets and special ticket packages on all future shows.

The 2004 calendar and the letter will ship between 12/15 and 1/15. Actual delivery is subject to holiday postal traffic.

We know that you all will be happy with the new club in 2004!
Best Regards,

www.FleetwoodMac.com & The Official Fleetwood Mac Fan Club

I know, I wondered about that too..but, damn!!! WE are finally getting something from the club. To all the ppl at Micks site who messed with us, hated us, ran us down, supported Knight or his minions, this is all that we wanted. What we paid for, and to be recognized!!! Thank you so much Signatures Network for doing what was not done from the start. Now I am really excited about the proposed third leg and maybe having better seats and so forth!!!! Lets Hear It For Signatures Network!!!!

Jan

Me too Chris. I already bought one. sigh. But, it is wonderful that they are striving to give us something. Have you guys seen the new membership levels?

I was surprised. The platinum level costs a lot of money. Will renewals run the same as the orig cost to join? That seems odd.

The platinum level is the regular fan club price as it was before...which was 79.95

It WAS $59.95 when I joined, but that was only for a limited time..

Thumbs up yay

I finally got the new e-mails, I truly hate my new hotmail format, why oh why, they didn't even ask
Glade about the calander as i didn't buy one (although they had then at my local calander store) since i bought the tourbook I didn't feel the need. Hey if and when the DVD of the tour comes out maybe they will have it in the store and we can get a discount on it
Still they haven't told us what level member we are, also since they do it on when ppl joined wonder if all us "old" members just get lumped together under one date. Not that i really care, lets just hope they announce their next tour dates in the next six months so extended membership counts for something. Sounds like this is going to be better run then the last one, but then again how could it not be (going to knock on wood right now)
