Yeah! You should have seen me in my lazy-boy recliner last night just completely happy and cheering and almost crying for a sec. I was just so surprised that they beat out Matchbox 20 AND 3 Doors Down. When I heard that I didn't think they'd win but hey what do I know.

I was really getting excited as Macy and mark kept talking about the award and I was going: "C'mon! Tell us! I'm dying of suspense!" It was so wonderful to see them win! They really deserve it!
Congratulations, Fleetwood Mac! You totally rock, as usual! BTW, I'm a new member. My name is littlelies7. Once more for the road: wheeeee!

FM AMA
I was surprised they won. Didn't think they could get the votes against Three Doors Down and Matchbox 20. I think this is one case where splitting the votes is a good thing, in Macs favor. The reaction in the audience was cool to the Mac compared to the other two. Even on the "Red Carpet' I can only recall ONE celebrity(McGrath) saying they were looking forward to see FM perform when asked. They need to stir up a little more excitement, and with that performance of PK, I doubt they did. You just can't capture their magic in one little time capsule or song. We all know how they still rock, at least those of us who saw them in concert this year! IMO they deserved the award for their staying power, their ability to be creative, and just selling millions of records. For this "year" not just sales of SYW but also copies of "The Best Of". I'm sure those sales figured in to their nomination as well.
Stevie's laugh and knee slap reaction to Jimmy Kimmel(or whatever his name is) made the interview segment fun to watch. She's great and so spontaneous. Mick was ok, but he tends to get carried away with being redundant.....WE ARE STILL ALIVE.... WE ARE STILL ALIVE.... WE ARE STILL ALIVE!! C'mon Mick, stop bringing so much attention to the fact that you are WAY over the hill and almost out to pasture!
