Lindsey on Acoustic Guitar Cover...

[Cammie]

Hey chiliD...or anyone who knows
their Guitar Makers...a question for yah'...

That's an unusual Guitar Lindsey is holding!
Could you tell me what make and model it is?

REALLY GREAT photo of my Favorite GUITAR MAN!

[BlueGrass]

That's his Rick Turner Renaissance model.

This one?

Specifically its his RS-6B Renaissance Baritone, as opposed to his RS-6 that he played on "Say Goodbye". (the thickness of the strings is the giveaway)

Standard tuning for a normal guitar is: E A D G B E

A Baritone is tuned a 4th down: B E A D F# B (the "E" on the 5th string of a baritone is the same pitch as the 6th string "E" on a normal guitar)

Whereas, a 6 string bass is tuned: B E A D G B an octave below a baritone.

Thanks so much! Can you now tell
us what the writing says? We just never
ever see LB with a guitar with writing!

We have two kids here learning guitar and
they appreciate your thorough answers!

It says "RENAISSANCE by Rick Turner"

And that particular instrument has Abalone purfling around the edge of the top which reflects the light and is quite outgoing for Lindsey as well.

check out the link if you fancy one...

My funny Lindsey Story...

WE just got home from the big city [Erie] where
we found a Borders and bought Acoustic Guitar!
Got soaked in a rain storm with hail! But we kept
our precious copy dry as we ran to the suv! My b.
friend said he hoped Lindsey appreciates all my
loyalty and fervor on his behalf! I bet he does!
