I watched the show last night...and even tho I wasn't born until '76, I do remember some of the stuff they talked about, just from my cousins having that stuff in their playrooms...years later. LOL Weebles...yep, had those.

Stevie is the hot chick of 1977. If you look at VH1.com and under 1977, you can see her pic ( from Tusk era though!)

Thanks for the heads up! I will be watching. I have seen 1970 and my birth year 71, and have to say I like the 80's show alot better. But I did find myself laughing out loud at all the older commercials and games we used to have.
Can anyone believe that we used to play with lightbright and never choked to death? lol.....
And I loved weebles...now I am waiting for the sit and spin, or shall I say sit and puke!

Onward to 77,
Tamara

I watched it last night, I thought it was pretty funny! And I wasn't even born till 1981~ so I remember very little about the 70's

1977 is on Thursday night! Whoo hoo! Do you think they may mention FM in 1975/6 because of the whole Rhiannon thing?

PS. Janet-- Lindsey is one of the hunks of 1977 too!

I think I would be more excited if I knew for sure that they were going to be on one of the shows. Of course, I can't see how the hell VH1 could NOT mention them in reference to the 70's, but then I could not believe that Stevie wasn't in the top 200 pop icons. Their lists have turned to crap, so I am not holding out hope.

That being said, of course, I am still gonna watch it just in case!

Not Lindsey... Lindsay
When are people going to get it right?!?
You'd think a channel/website that specializes (I use that word loosely) in music would be able to get the correct spelling!

i saw the 1970 and 1971 shows monday night and i thought they were great! i taped 1972 last night but missed 1973. i was born in 1970 and i remember a LOT of that stuff....it's so weird...it's such a different era....plus when you were a kid then it almost seems like you were in fantasy land looking back on all of it....i remember being a Mister Rogers and Electric Company junkie....i absolutely love the 70's! Everything looks so primitive to us now right? What's scary is that in 30 years everything now is going to look primitive.

Oh, and i totally had the game Operation...never had Lite Brite....always wanted it though.

I was born in Dec. of '74 but I still rememeber Litle Brite! I thought it was AWESOME! Same for Shrinky Dinks, E-Z bake ovens and Operation, lol. Then again I had an older sister born in 1970 so a lot of it was her castoffs! lol

I had, like, three sit and spins! My HR Pufnstuf one was my favorite. But then when it broke, it was replaced with a Smurf one. Things were never the same...

VH1's little panel of commentary people I find rather annoying. Who the hell are these people anyways? They suck!

The show isn't that bad, but I just cannot stand these people, whoever the hell they are. I hate when all these quasi-celebrity people get on TV shows and think their opinions on things are funny or important. Like that Steven Cockajoojoo guy. What the hell is he besides a major irritant? He's famous for nothing.

Oh well, the show is somewhat watchable but I'm not going to make an effort to catch the rest of them. It's passable junk TV.
