vh1 good idea or bad idea mick fleetwood

i just went to vh1 still no fleetwood mac message board! so i was curious to see if there was a mick message board, there was but there was not one message on there, isnt that pitiful, lol. i love fleetwood mac but i think this fan club thing really put micks name and reputation in a bad light, and deservedly so. i would like to think that mick and the rest of the band is so busy touring that they have no idea what s going on, but if you put the word out, (mick) that this is going to be the most connected club you ever joined, i find it hard to believe that you go on the road and forget that you are suppose to be connected to your paying members of your fan club. as for stevie not being involved, i dont blame her, but she is part of fleetwood mac and unfortunately this is gonna bring her name into it if anything does ever come out of it. they should of just called it the mick fanclub, i realize he may own the rights to the name FM, but if all members werenot going to participate, that is false advertising, even if in a small way. maybe this board could be used to reach more ppl about what is going on , i dont know if that is a good idea or not, cause maybe since JT is behind FM, maybe that is why there isnt a FM vh1 board anymore, but suddenly there is a mick board, so maybe he has some pull, if thats the case, i wouldnt bother with anything that he was involved in. what do you think, maybe he just needs to feel as tho he is in control of everything FM, but does he where vh1 is involved? oh well,

Hey Teedee,,,. Ok, lets play a game. Lets say that you see a board that is more of a public board, involved in the music industry, etc. Not like the Ledge that is a public board owned by an individual. Ok, so then let's say that you have expended all avenues to you to delete and whitewash where you can all discontent with your performance, or lack of, but, this public board that has negative things to say about you exists and then maybe you are being investigated... So then, you could pose as someone, say someone named Mystic something, just making up a name here, and cause a big riot and hoopla on that same public board that you maybe CAN do something about. Hmmmmm.....just a game, you know, but, so you are this person who spreads lies KNOWING that the person that you are spreading the lie about has many loyal friends who will defend them, well, ta da. You get a fight going, mess around, lie, and get something shut down. All hypothetically, you see, cause this is our game we are playing.

I hear you loud and clear! this is a game he is playing, i just think it was kinda funny that there wasnt one post there, but then again they have the fan club message board, to spread there happy news. oh well, i like this board on the ledge 100 times better, i just was wondering if ppl felt that maybe they could use vh1s board to warn others, that may not know of this existing board. i dont know how things are going on the fm board, i just know that they have not gotten any of what was promised yet..... thanks for the reply .. tina

Hey Tina....go for it. See, when the vh1 board topic that got it pulled was started, someone did just that. They posted a thread that had a link to a thread on the Ledge exposing what the fan club and JT were about. Well, it stayed like that for several weeks, no comments, just a marker to point ppl in the right direction.

Then, one day out of the blue, this person no one had ever heard of, Mystic someone, posted that the letter that was posted to the Ledge in the thread that ppl were being sent to, that JT had accidentially sent to Louise and meant for Mick's mgmt, was a like. This "person" claimed that there was a whole other web site that had another version on it, and then they posted this bogus vs and pow...everyone came to the defense of Louise while Mystic something stirred the pot and then sat back and let it escalate.

Well, needless to say, not just the thread, but, the whole board was pulled. "Someone" whined that they were being defamed or something of that matter and they blamed it on me. They said that I started the thread, and I did not, and that I was running them down. Well, VH1 also banned me, but, I rejoined as seeknpeace2. One of the tactics of "someone" has been to lay all discontent and unhappiness on me. To say that I somehow got all you 435 ppl to sign that petition cause you were my friends. I don't even know that many ppl on the web. I counted the ones that I did know and I knew 32 of the signees.

I don't care if he wants to put it all on me, but, it makes certain mgmt go..hmmmm....maybe this is only her, maybe she is a rabble rouser. And, he took a long ride on that excuse. I want to point out that I have not posted in a couple weeks, as I have really been busy, not forgetting the issues or staying in touch with ppl that I need to be in touch with, but, taking care of my life. And, this issue has not gone away or gotten any less important. If I died tomorrow, it would go on. This is not about me, Mystic something, this is about YOU. And, what has been done, the past, that you cannot change, hard as you try.

Thank you TeeDee and if you want to start that up at VH1, I salute you. I have my guesses that someone will pop up to stir trouble. And, to any mgment reading this, remember this. And, remember that not only was the thread that "someone" did not like pulled, but, a lot of other threads that other ppl were enjoying. That was not fair. Go and get Micks closed down..haha...that would rock.

Yeah I hope it works too Teedee but I think Seek is right, it'll get torn down and even if it doesn't, it'll only be left there soley because it's only a Mick Fleetwood board now and not a FM one and as "someone" discovered that a MF fan club doesn't bring in big money but a FM one does, then "they" would know that no one (or certainly not many) are ever going to see a post about this stuff at a MF board as not many people look for MF boards (hence why another board was pretty much overhauled into being a FM board when originally set up only as a MF board specifically). I do hope it works in spreading the word though.

I really wasnt interested in starting trouble on the VH1 Board. Since fm boards got yanked off vh1, I had no intentions of posting on micks vh1 board, i wouldnt give JT the satisfaction of being able to try to bann me from that board as well, cause i do believe you are right , he is playing games, and he wants control of everything. I would definately defend any post that was posted on the vh1 bd, in regards to the club fiasco, i would speak up and reply, but i will not fall into his game of starting it up so that he can get his rocks off. i think it says alot more that there isnt any posts on there at all!!!!!! we can let that be our victory. he is probably just waitin for a post, i think. but i rather post on a board where he has no authority, and i cant believe that he has any authority over at vh1, but since the board was yanked, i know he is behind it.
