I was listening to some Bob yesterday when I noticed that in alot of his songs, his phrasing was similar to that of Steive's. His delivery in some of his songs, both older and newer had similarities to that of Stevie's. For instance, from Abandoned Love:
One More time at midnight, near the wall Take off your heavy make up and your shawl Won't you descend from your throne where you sit? Let me feel your love one more time before I abandon it. I know that musically they don't sound the same but their phrasing has some similarities, I think. Maybe it's just that they're both great writers. They both leave a lot of space between their music and lyrics as well. |

I think Rock a Little Stevie sounds a lot like Bob with pumped up energy.
