none other than Silver Springs studio version!! Now you don't hear that on the radio every day.
Matter of fact it's the first time I"ve heard it. I know it's out there in mp3 somewhere but I'm too lazy to go look. It was actually a 3 song block. Gold Dust Woman, followes by SS, and then equally surprising was Live 1980 Oh Well. The station I heard it on was NOT owned by Clear Channel, so that may mean something. It was a real mindblow to hear SS studio though. I think it has a subtle charm that The Dance version sacrificed for a more powerful affect. Either way it's a great tune ![]() |

I've heard Oh Well on the radio in various cities for years. Rock stations seem to love the Lindsey version.

I used to hear Oh Well a lot on the radio about 20 years ago when I still listened to the radio. And yes, it was an excellent choice of songs probably due to the fact it wasn't being broadcast by a preprogrammed computer somewhere. The original Silver Springs is available on The VBOFM and The Chain box set as well as the Rumors dvd-a. I heard it on the radio in 1997 and I couldn't believe they were playing the studio version.
