A for Chirstianity well I read the whole Narina series and missed the influence, but then again I never read the bible so perhaps thats why...

So where are the Little House on the Prarie books?

Glad to see "Where the Red Fern Grows" is on there...

Why no Ronald Dahl...?
If kids can have sex and do drugs by the time they hit the 5th grade, what's wrong with expecting them to have a good reading comprehension level?

I still owe Fordham money for the semester I spent there. I came to my senses after a month there, knowing I'd be in debt until my senior years if I stayed any longer. One semester was enough and then it was back to state college, babe.

It really just depends. If you go to a state school and are a resident of that state and you work while in college, your loans will not be that expensive and will be maybe $200 a month if you get on the quick repayment plan and like $100 a month on the longer ones. In the end, with a little smarts and belt tightening your loans would not be that bad and certainly worth more to a person than not having the education and the opportunities presented by it.

Now, should there be a need for student loans. No, there should not.

I am my FAB new silk jammies - but before the budget started today. I actually sat down and did some additional ciphering and things are not as bad as I thought they were, which is a good thing What brought all of this on is I saw my Amex yearly spending and was HORRIFIED by my pagan excess - some of which you were a part of - thus, you are sharing the blame!

Wink

So anyway...back to the "Narnia" topic. I always enjoyed the first book, The Magicians Nephew. I think they are going to leave all of that out and just start where the 2nd book begins.

I know. I want to know how they are going to approach it. I hope, like the LOTR movies, they try to include as much as possibe. Sadly, the LOTR had to devote so much time to the fight scenes to attract the audiences that they were forced to cut probably a good thirty to forty minutes of other footage from dropped chapters. I am looking forward to Narnia though as I loved it as well.
