I called your post that because I took it to mean that you did not want a book you love to be made into a movie, which is exacltly what you said - presumably because you were scared of the production. I said that was asinine because many books, like LOTR, have been made into great movies. Please show me exactly where I said anything different than that.

well, it happens. I was about to blow a freakin' gasket last night over the FM/Stevie/LB issue...sometimes you gotta just walk away; and it's hard, especially because I will fight to the death over my Stevie. and it's hard not to take things personally sometimes...just like emails, you gotta read em and move on or confront the person face to face, which we don't have the luxury of doing.

and then sometimes it's healthy to get the juices flowing and know it you still got that fire...I got in an argument one time and came up with a phrase all my friends still use to this day...when you're done, whether you've won or lost, look at em and say "ouch, stings don't it" and walk away...leave em confused...

I said "Those books" not "a book I love" - It's not my fault what you took it to mean.
Why don't you just be right, because I am in my head, and I'm sure, nay positive, that this won't be resolved.

I've seen them and enjoyed them. Got some of them on tape. I never read the books as a kid (and I even went to a Christian school. LOL), so I turned on PBS one morning and saw this show that looked kinda neat. Turns out it was Lion, Witch and the Wardrobe. In high school, I asked my English teacher if I could read it for an assignment we had.

I had no idea it was based on Christianity or anything of the sort until someone mentioned it to me.

I'm dying to see Narnia! Can't wait!
