Live, "Harden My Heart" was about as different from the studio version as "Rhiannon" used to be in 1975-79.

I Like RAL and TOSOTM - but recognize the shift in voice and quality from BD and, less so, WH. But, one could not have expected her to stay stagnant forever. I think RAL was a big step for her and I think she took a chance there. I like almost all of it, save The Nightmare, and LOVE most of it. But, to each their own
