Exclamation Lmao!!

"She's uglier than homemade soap."

Yep...I've said that and so has my mom.

That was some funny stuff, thanks for posting! I love the Blue Collar guys, they crack my butt up! My fave is Bill Engvall.

I say coke for everything...and wait to be asked Coke, Pepsi, Root-Beer, etc. That's just the way it is here.

I've never used the term polecat for skunk, but when my family sees a squashed skunk in the road, we always sing "Dead skunk in the middle of the road." LOL

as for polecats, I knew those were skunks, probably because I read lots of books as a kid.....

I don't think I've ever gone camping, so I don't think I've ever had smores. Anything with marshmallow does nothing to excite me, I think marshmallow is nasty.

actually dAYta and dAHta are two different things. since Im not a computer nerd I cant tell you offhand but I can certainly get the proof (since I am the research QUEEN) Im going out on a limb here but I think day-tuh is singular whereas dah-tuh is plural. sorry tower!
and the correct way to say Almond IS Awlmond. the "L" is NOT silent.

There is only one correct way to pronounce data- "day-ta", which is similiar to deer and sheep in that the word is both singular and plural. Pronouncing data "dah-ta" is incorrect.

Pronouncing almond as "awl-mond" is also incorrect.

No, I say dayta. And according to Strand's dictionary posting of almond, both ways are "correct" are they not?
