Sweeeeeeet.

I really like the San Rafael bridge - structurally boring, awesome to drive over, since it's down so low.

Well, several of us helped to confuse by talking about other Bay Area hikes!

No problem! It's actually in Marin County...which is huge. Planning to visit or do you plan an extended "holiday" there?

The thing is, I saw this thing on Scott Peterson, and I noticed it was by the bay. I always thought it was out in the middle of nowhere. No I certainly hope it wont be for an extended stay, if I ever get there.

Amber is gonna kill us for hijacking her sweet hiking thread with death row prisoners and prisons.

It is sort of out in the middle of nowhere. It is a schlep to get there, I think, never been though. I grew up in SF and have never even been to Alcatraz. I know the history and seen pics and read stories, but that's the last place I would find entertaining. I would suggest Angel Island (Japanese internment Camp and immigration center) as a better SF Bay Area tourist thrill alternative.

Actually, dear, my entire body is made up of thigh, so don't feel bad.
Oh, wait - 85% thigh, 15% ass.

I love that view! It reminds me of one very nice evening spent on the hill at the Chabot observatory - I don't think it is the same spot, but the view was very like.
Your camera picked up some nice pink light and reflections.

About the thighs...I now consider you to be the Superhero(ine) of the Ledge. Amber Warrior Goddess, show us your cape!
