Only guessing of course but I don't think Stevie gives a you-know-what
about how much land there is or isn't. Who wants to hang in the back
yard when it's 116 degrees outside??? Besides that would be a pain
in the neck to maintain, groundskeepers or no. I have the impression
that's actually typical for Paradise Valley. A LOTTA rich people wanna
live in Paradise - so it starts to get a little crowded after awhile.
My Uncle's fairly well off for example and because of how expensive
his neighborhood in Califonia is, you wouldn't believe how small the
house is considering the cost, and there's essentially NO land.

Do you live in unit 109 or the somewhat more spacious 111

No, actually most of the homes in her neighborhood range in value from 1.2 mil to 2.8 mil. The neighbor 2 houses down sold in 2003 (same size home with a guest cottage like hers) for 2.2 mil.

Most tax records show the full property value, the appraised property value and the assessed valued.

Comparing Paradise Valley and Mahattan is apples and oranges. The property values in PV are quite a bargin compared to other "over valued" areas of the country.

I don't really think of 7000 sq ft as a "mansion". I guess in my schema anything over 15,000 square feet is the bottom tier of mansion. I mean, my house is 6800 sq foot in a gated community (which means nothing, the guard only gives one a false sense of security...lol...those of you who live 'gated' know what I mean) and I definitely DO NOT live in a mansion.

hey reebokandlace.... it's one thing to state that the info is easy to find (some people really don't know how to get around easily on the internet), and it's another thing to post a link to a site that has a celebrity's home address on it. that's not cool. i know that we all pretty much know and trust the people on the ledge and most probably would not do anything stupid... but you never know what sort of freaks lurk here. a family lives in that house and they deserve their privacy and to not be f*cked with. i know you had no malicious intent, but just remember the scary people.

A family lives in the Phoenix house?? A family plus many.

As far as people asking me about Stevie's house, believe what ya'll want.

The hypocricy of some of you who have replied to this thread is quite amusing. So close to the situation, but yet soooo far.

I agree and if specs for her Phoenix house can be accessed publicly, then so can her current address in CA... which if you cross reference with a certain person's name, you will see they are the same......"Its all the same, its all the same"

I've asked about it before simply because I'm curious to know how the heck people even know she has brought a new house. Inside info? Digging online? It's not disbelieving... it's just asking for more info that's all

Good lawd! What on earth do you do with 6800sf? Do you have a Guatemalan village living there? You could give each Stevie Nicks solo album its own listening room! . I suppose a gated community is to AZ as a doorman building is to NYC. My building technically has a doorman... but they're pretty much a rotating cast of minimum wage earners who don't recognize you from a hole in the wall and couldn't care; they'll let anyone through. Still, I wouldn't have it any other way; the city can be a scary place.

Anyway, I'm so shocked that Mama is such a modest mouse compared to Lindsey or even Christine. And one could arguably assume that she could buy and sell both of them many times over. That is, unless somehow it all went up through her nose during the 80's .
