^^^^^

I know - snap, bam, boom and there is $50 million.

Then, in the middle of nowhere and in like 30 minutes of real time, they just produced a GS 3. I mean there are sooooo many of those $30 million + planes going unused in that area of the world

I dare say it was better then Silence of the Lambs! Did anyone else see this movie tonight? What did you think? It was the best movie I've seen in years without a doubt.

Are you kidding? You must be easily entertained, then. I was sorely disappointed. This movie is not worth going to see at the theaters. It's a renter. Ugh...going to see The Corpse Bride tonite to wash Flight Plan out of my mouth.

I liked if not loved Corpse Bride. I think Burton is brilliant. I get it is an aquired taste, but his use of humor astounds me everytime.

I'm not kidding. I loved it! Normally I don't like most movies and sit around and say "Is it over yet?" Maybe that is one of the reasons I loved this movie so much- because it was really fast paced and I didn't have time to get bored. I'm really suprised most people don't like this movie. What did you not like about it?

Default For Newspaper

Hey guys I wrote a review for the school newspaper. This is just a first draft but PLEASE tell me what you think.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Flightplan arrived to theaters this weekend with a big bang. Jodie Foster plays the lead role in this movie as Kyle with her daughter, Julia, on a plane leaving for New York City. They are traveling on the worlds largest plane that Kyle helped design. Kyle is flying with her daughter to New York to bury her husband that died from a mysterious fall and they are transferring the casket. But when Kyle and Julia take a nap, Kyle wakes up and Julia is gone. The rest of the film plays out with Kyle and the rest of the crew to find Julia.
Fosters performance in this film is outstanding. You think that Jodie Foster really had a daughter, and then the movie leads you to believe that she was just imagining the daughter, and that she is on the verge of nervous breakdown pending the onsetting grief from the death of her husband.
Other positives of the show include, excellent cinematography, engagaing scriptwriting, and an intense musical score. All of these qualities build together to make this movie very well put together. This is one of those movies where you cannot stop watching. Each scene leaves a mysterious path that you want to follow. Its like you have to keep watching to see what is going to happen. Unfortunately, this leads to some slow parts of the film.
The director uses a lot of build up in this movie that could have been to his advantage if he actually lead it to something. Often times in this movie you will feel like something big is going to happen, with dramatic music, and unusual actions by Foster that will leave you hanging. It builds up into a big production and usually ends with Foster being restrained by other members of the flight.
Another big flub of the film was the role of the Security Director of the plane, "Carson" (Peter Sarsgaard). His acting in this film was pitiful, drowning, and very boring. In my opinion, he was not suited for this character. In order to understand his concept in the film I recommend you go see it.
Overall, this movie was very good. A much more attention grabber than Red Eye and focused more on the plane aspects. Although it did have a few flaws, it will keep your attention to the very end. The ending sequence will have you yearning with suspense and the feel to see more. Go see it. And of course the classic tagline: How Come Someone Vanish Into Thin Air?

Arrow Eh.

I saw this yesterday. There were a couple of scenes I liked, but overall, eh. The ending left me going "That's all?" I was hoping for a great twist or something, I guess.
