Ditto. To be honest, I was never a huge INXS fan even in their heyday.
But if some of the lesser American Idols can get contracts, I don't foresee a problem for her.

I LOVE this show. It's my new guilty addiction. I've seen every episode and if I'm not home I record it. As far as I'm concerned Jordis has it in the bag. I say she's going to win the whole thing and that was my though the first time she performed. She has it all - the look, the attitude, the stage presence, the voice, and she's a chick! And the best part about her is she pulls it all off without her tits hanging out! I also like Marty. I thought everyone they found were all quite talented in their own right and have been very impressed with everyone. I just think that not all of them are right for INXS just like the band says.

Did I miss someone getting booted or have they not done that yet? I set the DVR to record the 1-hour show and the results show, but I got King of Queens instead.

Jordis rocks! I want that dork who played the guitar and sang (?) Summer of 69 to go next...

We now have this show in the UK (or at least I saw pt 1&2 last week, but seem to have missed it this week.....oh well). I find it interesting as it was put to me by a fellow Ledgie, that had they changed the band name immediately and continued without MH, then they were in it for the love of the music, however by holding onto the name and finding a MH replacement, then it's all about the MONEY, cashing in on those songs and MH's memory..I must admit I do agree, why have they waited so long to do this? Because these blokes are wanting the cash and thats why theyr'e in it. Having said that though, I did find it quite interesting to watch.

I know it was on against the new dance show by the AI folks. I caught some of that and it was extremely boring.

I didn't bother to watch it. I was a semi fan of the group in the 1980s .Surely they don't need the money this much to resort to such tackiness .They were huge internationally for quite awhile .

Last night was pretty good - Jordis BLEW ME AWAY w/ her rendition of "Man Who Sold the World." I've always loved that song - I voted for her!!!

Jordis was awesome and very easy on the eyes. If you went by last night's performance only, I'd say she won......but I don't think an all male band is going to pick a female lead singer.....it's an ego thing

To me, it's not a question that Mig will win... he's got a great voice, he's by far the most likable and personable, he's their countryman, and he's the only one that has the kind of stamina INXS is looking for or going to need, from his stint singing Queen (!) songs 7 times a week for however long on the stage in London.

I really like Brandon, but I thought "If You Could Only See" fell apart. I thought it was great at the beginning, and then completely off rhythm and off pitch for the rest. I don't like any of the girls except Jordis, and sometimes Deanna. I like Marty more every week. I think if J.D.'s not off soon, though, I'm going to quit watching. That's how much he annoys me.

I can never vote b/c I tape it & then watch it Wednesday before the results show, so I just watched it. Jordis was awesome. You could tell that she really felt that song. Jordis needs to go out on her own, seriously. She doesn't need INXS.
