Yeah, sounds like it. I just Googled, and (shockingly) there are more than 500 occurrences of Stevie & Area 51 being mentioned on the same page! (Who knew???)

But it also came up with many fan sites such as SNU & Candlebright, who thank "Area 51" in their site credits for contributions to the pages.

So Jason -- you were right. Anal probes MUST be the cause of all the snarkiness.

Why, I will be glad to. It was a group of close knit friends that Jeremy USED to belong to and he left. We used to have music from time to time that we could share but had to wait a bit before we share it broadly. When Jeremy wanted to come back, we would not have him back, so he in turn pretended to be other ppl on the Chain and blast us and threaten to turn us into the FBI or God or something, so the entire group just disbanded. Hey Hayley, and this is most peculiar of him considering all the threatening and treachery he committed against a group of people, all under another name, and even answered himself as himself on the Chain, threatening to turn them in for being able to get music that he could not, and I would like to say it is music that came to the entire community with a month or so's time. Hi, no it is not a tabu thing, it was a group of fans who had a special in to some of the music. The music was always shared and was not kept close to be selfish, but, to meet the request of the provider. Now, that is all gone. The group no longer exists, and it is ancient history, but, there are reasons he may want to change his name. Sorry Jeremy, you outed yourself on this one. Live with it.

Sounds like we have a know it all. Hmmm write a book honey and sell it to others that will actually give a damn and read it. In fact, I know several people who have had permission from several artists to do remixes. I AM GLAD YOU DONT WANT TO HEAR MY STUFF I NEVER ASKED FOR YOU TO DOWNLOAD THEM. Clique? A group of people using a mail list to swap their collections via MP3?

You used to bounce a lot. This particular list's rules asked that people have large file capacities. Many people over the years didn't, & decided to beg off. There were also other frequent logistical problems related to your coming & going from the mail list (it's a hassle to have to keep requesting that a fairly large group of mail list members change their distribution addresses). What's the big deal now?

It was fun while it lasted -- even the occasional drama that occurred (as we all know by now, drama occurs on every electronic gathering of Stevie fans). But with all the download pages up now & the bit torrent stuff, it's been rendered obsolete.
