He's touring intimate venues, but charging over $100 for tickets. That's the reason I didn't go see him.

I heard SYW album version on Q104.3 NY tonight coming home on the Parkway. I was so psyched! I thought it had been forgotten by now!

Amen! They have approached/introduced their new material almost apologetically. They have not shown much confidence in it. If they were truly excited about it, and believed it, then the fans would follow. "I'm So Afraid" sums up how they have acted.

I admire Neil Young and other artists like him -- they go out and confidently play the material that inspires them at the moment. It makes for fresh, unexpected and unique shows. Chart hits be damned. Neo-fan expectations be damned.

Sure, the casual fan may be pissed that they don't hear the hits. Screw them, their short-sighted expectations and short attention spans!I just don't understand that! Maybe it's a generational thing?

I've attended concerts of bands in which I knew none of their songs --I wouldn't know a hit from an obscurity. But, if they were a good band, I'd enjoy the show none-the-less! I wouldn't feel slighted that I didn't recognize or hear the "hit."

Fleetwood Mac is a band, but it shouldn't be a juke box.
