What you listening to at the mo? Anything to recommend?
Aww, thanks, dude. There's nothing much going on here for me to join in, since I'm not a member of Team Lux or Team Lux Can Suck It and I don't particularly like kitty pictures.

I'm obsessed with the Gnarls Barkley album, which just came out here last week. Also, the new Built To Spill- You In Reverse, and the new Calexico- Garden Ruin. The one that continues to knock my socks off is the Film School album, which has been out for quite awhile.

ETA- I just got an advance of T Bone Burnett's new album, The True False Identity, and it is amazing, too. Look out for it.

I cannot find this anywhere yet, and a bunch of other albums that I want are too expensive. I may need to place an Amazon.com order in the next few days; it'll still be cheaper even with shipping and customs.

I haven't got the new Calexico and I haven't heard of Film School, so I'll definitely check those out, thanks!
When is the new T Bone Burnett album out then?
I still listen to the Sam Phillips album you recommended all the time!

T Bone is out in the States tomorrow, not sure when in the UK. The Calexico surprised me- I've never been able to get into them, until the Iron & Wine EP, which is ironic, because I HATE IRON & WINE WITH EVERY FIBER OF MY BEING. And now I really like the new record.

I'm so glad you're into that Sam Phillips record. I definitely recommend checking out Fan Dance if you like A Boot and a Shoe (that's the one you got, right?).

The other band I'm in love with is Delays, from your side of the pond. I love that first record, Faded Seaside Glamour, and am PISSED that their new album, You See Colours, doesn't seem to have a US release date. I am much too broke to order it from the UK.

Gahhh, but they don't have Ghostface Killah's new album! I'll just order from Amazon.com, there's some books I need as well.

GNARLS BARKLEY!

That is on the top top top of the list of next CD to purchase. I love that single and every song they have on myspace & iTunes are amazing as well. I'm glad that the album is good overall. Sometimes that can be disappointing. I, too, hate Iron & Wine by himself but with Calexico? That EP is good times. "burn that broken bed" is one of the sexiest songs I've ever heard. Ever.

PS, hayley i love you
