Yes ma'am -- Princeton Junction I already have it figured out...i'm finished class the day of the concert at 3:20 and don't have class the next day until 5:30 at night. This has definite potential

Sweet! I wonder how much tickets will be and if I should think about making a reservation in advance. Anyone know of a good, reasonably price place to stay near that venue? I've never been there. I would also be interested in doing the roomie thing again, that was so fun.

Has no one thought that "No Spoken Word" should be the song she performs?

With that classic line...

"...the wind & the rain & the WATER!!!...

Maybe she's doing it for therapeutic reasons -- trying to get back into the swing of things is sometimes a way for people to deal with loss.

I'm so happy to see this and agree with Johnny Stew about it being great that she's willing to get out there again so soon after her dad's death.

Please let her sing a good song, be in great form and maybe duet with Bette Midler! What a terrific surprise that'd be!

Now would be the perfect time for Bette to sing "You'll Never Know" from her Rosemary Clooney album.

You'll never know just how much I miss you
You'll never know just how much I care
And if I tried, I still couldn't hide my love for you
You oughtta know, for haven't I told you so
A million or more times

You went away and my heart went with you
I speak your name in my every prayer
If there is some other way to prove that I love you
I swear I don't know how
And you'll never know if you don't know now

Thank you. Yes, it's quite the gorgeous pic, isn't it? I think she's a genius, too.

I'm really not sure of reasonably priced places in that area. I venture to guess your best bet would be to ask Jason as i've never actually stayed in NYC for the night (unless at someones place). Like I said, I think the VIP tickets will be a few hundred and upwards -- after all, they're doing this to raise money -- I think tickets priced for the average Joe that want to lend a hand and see a good concert but can't afford to give quite as much will be in the $70 range. I could be wrong but I guess we'll see Keep me posted if you're going to attend

I have a feeling you'll hear Bette sing I Think It's Going To Rain Today --beautiful song with a beautiful message.
