It's pretty bizarre that she completely ignores half of her solo albums (RAL, TOSOTM, and SA)... most of her shows in 2005 have been comprised of songs from 22 years ago or older!
the two exceptions? Fall From Grace and Sorcerer (thank god she likes TISL)

... and not for anything, but 2005 marks the 20th anniversary of RAL.. she could have at least pulled out "No Spoken Word" or something

Didn't she say in an interview that pretty much nothing that came after RAL was any good to her? Until TISL that is

No, she said that she considers TOSOTM her magic album and she loved the songs and was thankful they were written before the Klonopin came in. She has remarked that others told her they did not like TOSOTM though. But, I am pretty sure she likes it.

Well, she was in her prime during that time. That's the era that ppl know her best....The "lion" hair...the high energy shows....the slinky chiffon....I think hear mind set is stuck in that time and she wants to relive it as much as possible.

I disagree about TTM & ROF, especially with the resurgence in popularity of 80s tunes all around.

Also, I don't think even she sees SDMHA as a staple. If I recall, she seems to have grabbed for it after Waddy pushed for the song Bella Donna to open the 2001 tour, and I'm sure that scared the crap out of her.

I don't think she'd mind reliving those days with Joe or Rupert, much as I shudder at the image of the latter.

I was referring to the interview/article from 2001 of Globe and Mail when it said:

She describes the whole era from 1986 to 1994 as "my black hole."

She has also referred to her non creative years as "those eight years" , assuming shes referring to 1986-1994

Although I think TOSOTM is a better album than RAL myself

Well, she does refer to it as that, but she also in similar interviews specifically excludes TOSOTM from that by noting that it was written prior to the big effects of Klonopin

I know. Maybe in retrospect she just wishes that part of her life would go away.

That would have worked really well with the little acoustic interlude they had going in the middle there with Big Love/Landslide. It's not like they didn't have enough guitar players onstage.

However, I can't imagine Beautiful Child without the rest of the band--simple as that.
Mick is the only person that should play drums on that song.

personally i think Rooms On Fire would have be an awesome opening song in Vegas.. but instead she opens with Enchanted
It's okay and all but it's not really the same without her wailing "I said whoa" at the end.

You think you have? There's some of us who've been around a lot longer and have heard them many more times than you, young squire. Do you know how many times I've heard Dreams? Stand Back? (and I love that song but I'm f'ing tired of it).
All in all though, I know I should be grateful that Stevie's still around. It could have worked out a whole lot differently.

It has varied at all, IMO, especially the "When they ask her about the men in her life" speech at the end. They were poets, priests of nothing, legends. Yes, we know.
