Getting defensive is one thing, calling people jealous in the manner you did, just because they don't like a setlist is another.

I'm sorry you've had to put up with us angry jealous assholes. I'm sorry that you can't appreciate the wonderful community of fans and friends here. I'm sorry that you can't appreciate the value of this site and the effort that's gone into it over the years and feel the need to trash it over on Mick's site and again on this one with your comment about hoping Stevie doesn't know it exists. But that's the same as judging other fans who you don't know and calling them jealous of their friends and board mates because they don't like a setlist. I'm sorry you think everyone here is so shallow and petty that they'd be so jealous of other people going to see a show that they post about disliking a setlist.

Everyone has their own opinion.
After all of your posts today, I don't believe you really believe that statement since you've done everything to tell people their opinion of a poor setlist is wrong.

As far as insulting anyone here, I really didn't mean to. I was just reacting to the posts I was reading.

Sorry.

Sorry, Jamie - IMO you did mean to insult the people who post here and the Penguin/Ledge site by all of your comments here and at Mick's board today.

Shudder.... The term 'mick's board' rears its ugly head again. Is that place even alive anymore? From what I remember it was people over there who caused so much friction amongst fans during the days of Jonathan Todd. Now there is someone worthy of being called an asshole.

First off Jamie if you think the Blockbuster Awards performance of Fall From Grace was terrible, lol , well I'm sorry that discredits anything you have ever said...

Also to add to this "discussion" I don't think it's too out of this world for some to be disappointed that she didnt deliver what she assured everyone she would do....We all love Stevie, otherwise we could care less, this doesnt change that....but it's not UNGRATEFUL to expect what you are told you are getting when you pay for something.

Who knows, things could change at the shows as the week goes on...I dunno..none of us do. Had I been there I would have been fine with the set, we got a few surprises, so it's ok..it's cool.. But we are very justified in being disappointed for the ppl we know who went paid LOTS of money in travel and tix and arrangements and didnt get what they expected...not because their expectations were abnormally high for no reason, but because Stevie really pumped everyone up for it...and got everyone's expectations up

Chris

At the end of the day this is a 'discussion' forum. People will discuss positive and negative. I love Stevie to death but I might not love every decision she makes. I was absolutely pissed off that she didn't come to the UK for TISL after promising too (I'm sure Strand will pipe up about this ) and I'm sure at the time I voiced my annoyance. Didn't mean I was being ungrateful or disrespecting her.

And I will say again the Blockbuster FFG was totally rocking.

The ones I feel for are Lindsey's and Christine's fans... how I bet they wish they had a solo setlist they could be tired of.

I bet we all sound like spoiled brats to them.

Again, sorry if I upset any of you. Fansites are supposed to be fun, and I don't want to piss anyone off. I get enough fighting in my f-ed up family dramas.

I will cease to further comment on the matter and just chalk it up to that we all have our own opinions and leave it at that.

I will watch the Blockbuster thing (again) just to make sure I saw what I think I saw (her being obviously, painfully nervous). I want you guys to watch it again too, if you can. Maybe "terrible" was the wrong word to describe it though.

~Jamie

Are we cool now?

Lindsey's not afraid to try new things as was evident in his choice of songs for Soundstage.
I left that place with my chin on the floor.
I bet his tickets wouldn't be $150, either.

Smile Hmmmm . . . .

I can see some people's point of view, but see mine, too. I started liking Stevie & the Mac at the time of The Dance. I don't have the entire CD collection of either. I've only seen Stevie once solo. I haven't heard all her songs; I don't know them all. And I just love to hear her sing. She could put Mary Had A Little Lamb in her setlist, & that would be fine with me. I couldn't go & see her in Vegas because I don't fly, but I will see her in Philly next month, & I am really looking forward to it.

Good point here. I think this is being really misconstrued. Everyone is happy Stevie is touring, we love and appreciate her. However, the Vegas concerts were billed as being a once in a lifetime event. Think of it this way, during the SYW tour, would anyone have paid to see FM in Seattle when they lived in Pittsburgh and could catch the show in a month or two. That's kind of how some feel, but nonetheless, money is paid and we'll enjoy the heck out of the shows anyway and just be glad to be there; no harm to opinions about Stevie or her shows, just a little 'sigh'. and move on.
