like the pink dress in the Everyday video... that was nice.. and she looked wonderful in it

I agree, Jessica, I think the pink dress from Everyday was gorgeous. ALL the costuming done for the videos were beautiful. It was nice to see Stevie reaching out into pastels. The colors made her look a good 15 years younger. I loved the whole set of Everyday. It was right out of Great Expectations, the book, you know? Stevie's used that theme in some of her songs too. But the clothes! I hope she didn't rent them just for the video, and that she will consider wearing them on tour!

I LOVE that song. I can't listen to it without tearing up. But if I could get her to sing it live, I'd be willing to lose it. That song touches my soul. "I've come to make you better. I've come to take you away." I've lost a few people in my life, and hearing Stevie sing that puts a lot into perspective. She is more than an incredible writer. She's an amazing comfort.

*she reminds me of the type to try a variety. She probably knows, you shouldn't stick with just one type...it can dry out your hair!! I think she uses like, Aveeda and the expensive brands they try to sell you at salons. She's probably always trying new things.

*ya know what? I have a really cute pant suit from H&M. The jacket is looong and black and it's beaded. It's really adorable. I'd like to see her rock that out because she'd look awesome in it. And since you require a color other than red, lets go with a deep red or a blue because I think those colors are good for her.

*Well, she's not that old time but Catherine Deneuve. She's my favorite actress and she's been around for a loooong time. They've both loved and lost, have great careers, are into clothing, are sort of workaholics...etc. They'd both have a lot to talk about. Stevie might need to brush up on some French but Catherine does speak English and very well...i'd love to watch that. Hell, i'd love to be sitting at the table with them.

*Um. Quite honestly, if she did, they should shut the place down. It's not particuarly my favorite style on her but, if she's feeling it then, hell, go for it. I agree with you guys when you said she may be braiding it. If not, then they probably are some added hair extensions permed.

I would have followed them and perhaps gone to the eatery if they were eating. But if I had to be somewhere, Id continue on. I wouldnt go into her housing trac though, thats a wee much IMO.

I would make it more colorful, but still with the touch of night she loves. Id do it up in her traditional 79 Tusk tour with deep purple chiffon and velvets. Of course, a sweet pair of boots are in order as well dyed to match. Id design a lavendar beaded shawl to go with this dress.

Dick's Last Resort in San Antonio. I think they are all over the place, actually, but I've only been to that one. Very bawdy, raucous, crazy, adult-oriented restaurant, where you sit at community picnic tables w/ people you've never met and the wait staff humiliates you.

I don't think the Atkins diet would allow her to eat the fried dough, but maybe she'd splurge and do it anyway. But I definitely could see her on the carousel. And if we're taking about a fair/traveling carnival, as opposed to a theme park, the carousel would probably be the safest bet, huh?
