Is it true that Stevie once lived in Jayne Mansfield's old pink house? I read that a little while back. Does anyone know where she lived during The Other Side of the Mirror period? I remember seeing a scan of an article in a British newspaper about her house in the late 1980s, it looked pretty big. I'm also intrigued about the house she lived in while at high school.

Hmm.. The house that she lived in during TOSOTM, I believe, is the "very Dutch" castle, in Beverly Hills (?) I don't remember if she lived in that house while they recorded, or if they only used it for recording. I think she lived somewhere else, but I don't remember too well.

All the time she spends on the road working .She would be better off with a motorhome bus or a 5th wheel trailer.

No she lived in Vilma Banky's old home in the late 70's, that was pink when Stevie lived there. It was for sale a while ago: http://goldduststevie.tumblr.com/pos...house-for-sale
I believe that during the OSOTM-era she lived in the Studio City house that she later sold to George Clooney, or in the old Bavarian villa in Encino (I think she owned both properties at the same time?)

She just rented that house to record the album, just as Fleetwood Mac rented the Bel Air house to record Say You Will.
