Stevie's homes

Hi all,
I know this is a bad time to ask this being that today is THE BIG DAY, but I would
Like to get Stevie's whole housing situation right.

I know she bought her first home (silent film stars home) in 77 or 78.

I know she had the Paradise Valley AZ home.

Where I'm somewhat confused, is when she purchased the very English cottage home with the stone spiral staircase? Is that the one she sold to George Clooney (95')?

Is that the home she and Jessica (8 to 10 year old Jessica) were photographed at the piano?

Thanks!

She currently has two homes. Day to day she lives on top floor of at a condo overlooking I-5 or PCH near LA. She records and entertains at her other home, the one that was in IYD documentary.

No. That photo was taken at the (now sold) Phoenix home.

I think she's had quite a few over the years, including the one she mentioned during an interview in 1989, which seems to be different than the one where they recorded OSOTM. There's also the "Rock a Little" house where she wrote about the house rocking a little, because it was on the ocean. So she's had a lot of houses lol. :p

I believe Jessica and family lived for years in the Paradise Valley home until it was sold...Stevie lived on one side and they lived on the other and the kitchen was in the middle...

Stevie had an English beach house (her Doheny house)...

Is that the one where Herbie took those amazing pics on the rooftop? The one with her Rhiannon wings floating perfectly above her head, blowing in the wind?

Oh my, there are more than I even realize. It irks me when I don't know where she called home at any given point in her career. I like to visualize where songs were written, where she came home to after tours, and connect major life events to those homes.
So thanks for the info.

That was her condo in (I believe) Santa Monica. I believe that's also where some of her famous mirror pics (some of them selfies) were taken, but I could be wrong about that. I also believe this is the Rock A Little "house," but again, I may be combining stories.

My favorite house of hers by far is her previous rental in Pacific Palisades- the Spanish style house where she did her 2005 interview with Australian Women's Weekly. I *think* this is where she did her Harper's Bazaar interview in '98 (one of my all time fav articles on her/the Mac), and the house which Courtney Love wrote about Stevie living in in the song "Malibu." Again, I could be wrong!

Stevie went through houses like she went through men.

Remember, this is a woman who gets so bored being in the same place that on the road she'll change hotels after a few days (in the same city). Both she and Mick have talked about that.

The one constant seemed to be the house in Phoenix, and mainly because her brother and Lori lived there and then raised Jesse there. Stevie came and went. Once Jesse was grown, and then the divorce happened between Chris and Lori, the house got sold.

btw, a little off topic but has anyone heard anything about what Chris is up to these days? He used to show up in pics with Stevie and her entourage, or at least get mentioned by her from time to time… but it seems like since the divorce, nothing. Is Stevie indicating she's Team Lori?

Lol, ay Stevie,
She is consistent in terms of her boredom and need for change... I blame it on her Wild Heart!;)

She's a "street angel"-they aren't like anyone you know. She's one of the few "gypsies that remain".Well you know her(me),she's(I'm) a nomad, she(I) can't feel bad about the way she is (I am).

Lindsey blames it on her childhood. He said in an interview he wanted a stable (location) childhood for his kids; that's what he had… and that he realizes there were things about her childhood that made it hard for Stevie to settle in one place.

That definitely makes sense. The constant moving must have shaped her as a little girl. Her grandfather must have also played a part in her "ramblin girl" persona.
