They could have dropped into a quiet little place and had a drink or two.

And frankly, anyone who gets THAT famous goes through a phase like that. Some come out of it, some don't.

I tend to think Stevie would be much more gracious now. A little fall from grace (on top of getting sober) did a lot for our girl.

I could definitely see Stevie giving someone the brush off, but doing it to Nancy Sinatra would have surprised me because even if Stevie didn't appreciate her as an artist, I think her being Frank's daughter would have been something Stevie would think was great.

Also, Stevie was a teen when "These Boots" came out and I just imagined that she would like that one for fun, even if she didn't think Nancy was a real artist. In those days I know they didn't have MTV, but it seems like I've often seen a video of the song too, which I think would make it even more popular for those coming of age in the sixties.

What did she do to Nancy Sinatra? (Lucky she wasn't murdered by the mob.)

One would just describe all web cam events continuously and then we'd have another one for discussion. Maybe each Macster would have to have their own webcam thread.

There was no Nancy Sinatra incident. Nancy was just saying that her daughter produced something for her and in the production of whatever it was she finally got some respect when people saw her, because in the past people didn't take her seriously and brushed her off, like she wasn't a true singer or something and she named Stevie as an example of the kind of people who did that. Eh. Maybe it wasn't even the real Stevie that Nancy was talking about. Maybe Stevie was just a rock star arch type who held Nancy in disdain for saying somethin' stupid like I love you.

I believe Stevie acted that way. She can be a snob.
